Unfortunately, I will not be attending the Air Assault school this February because it looks like the Army has other plans for me.

I will try to get another slot later this year.

On the bright side, here is a list of opportunities that have presented themselves:
1. Continue my hypertrophy cycle where I left off.
2. Continue to train my awesome clients.
3. Continue to be VP for the BJJ club.
4. Start as the Head Strength Coach for the BJJ club.
5. Host more speed and agility sessions with different sports teams.
6. Attend the second round of interviews for the Fitness Manager position at a local gym.
7. Take on more potential clients.
8. Create more side-hustle opportunities.
9. Finish my thesis and graduate on time this semester.

As of today I am putting the Hypertrophy Block on pause.

I’ve been given the opportunity from my unit to attend The Sabalauski Air Assault School at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, on February 24th.

Up till then, I’ll be changing up my training program to prepare for the course.

What does Violence of Action mean?

Violence of action is the unrestricted use of speed, surprise, and aggression to achieve total dominance against your enemy.

In some cases that enemy may be physical, emotional, or psychological. For many, that common enemy is YOURSELF.

You enable weakness.
You enable excuses.
You enable comfort.
You enable these negative self-destructive tendencies to manifest within yourself to develop into habits that compound onto itself until they become subconscious actions.

You may not know the exact outcome, but the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

For me, the first step was BJJ. Go out and find yours.

Don’t choose some date in the future to start a new resolution—START TODAY.
