Our voices will be accompanied by traditional instruments including Sitar, tabla, harmonium, handpan, cello and cymbals. As we travel together through the peaks and valleys of rhythm and melody, a complete lyrics sheet of these chants will be provided to guide us along. Participation in singing is voluntary and everyone is encouraged to participate at the level they feel comfortable.

Saffron Skies is a collective group of musicians who have 2+ decades of experience performing Indian in concerts across the US and abroad.

Lead vocalist Sidd Chitnis is a classically trained singer & percussionist specializing in Indian classical music. Thomas Klepper is an audio engineer & musician specializing in sitar, harmonium and Hindustani Raagas. The Kirtan will be accompanied by Saheb Singh who is a renowned percussionist & a tabla player in the LA music circle as well as the Indian-American community. Additional vocals & instrumentals will be with Katie, Lisa and Anita.

Chanting is a powerful practice that allows us to directly experience the meanings of these ancient words without filtering through the mind. No experience needed! Lyrics sheet with the verses will be provided.
