This Veterans Day, we honor and celebrate the veterans in our lives, including colleagues, coworkers + family members who have served…
“Veterans Day is a time to commemorate those who made a courageous decision to defend their country both foreign and domestic. It is also a time to reflect on hardships we endured so that others may not have to. This day is a yearly reminder that those who served did so with meaning. However, there are long term effects for some who serve, as well as challenges transitioning back into civilian life. The biggest setbacks may be mental health, employment and homelessness. Veteran’s Day is an opportunity for awareness of those who may struggle and might not be cognizant of the resources and support systems available. Wounds linger amongst those who served. On this day nationwide, it is not only a celebration of our victories, it also an appreciation of our sacrifice.”

“Veterans Day is a day to reflect and honor those that bravely served our country and sacrificed for our freedom. It’s also a reminder that the war does not end for many once they return home. It’s important to thank and support our veterans after they’ve completed their service. My two grandfathers Carl Manning & Art Resnik bravely served in the US Army and my father John Kirk Manning served in the US Navy.”
