This weekend, I’m starting a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator training, and I’m excited to begin weaving deeper breath practices into my sound bath experiences.

I explored a lot of options before choosing this one. What stood out was the way it honors the depth of breathwork and the responsibility of those guiding it. Breathwork can be incredibly powerful, and it’s important for me to learn in a space that emphasizes integrity, presence, and how to support people through whatever arises.

I’ll be honest: I’m also a little nervous. It’s been a while since I’ve been in student mode, and learning in my late 40s doesn’t feel quite the same as it did in my 20s. I’m reminding myself that growth doesn’t have to be fast or flashy, and that I don’t need to measure my experience against anyone else’s—including past versions of myself. All the grace!

That said, my inner nerd is thrilled.🤓 I love learning, and I’m so ready to dive into new knowledge and deepen my practice.

I’ll be starting the training Friday and will share my experience going through the experience, so follow along if you’re curious! And if you’re a breathwork practitioner or fan, I’d love to hear any insights or tips you have in the comments. Let’s learn together. 💨✨

When I was a kid, I wrote letters to my past and future selves. On my 14th birthday, I penned one to open on my 24th birthday, and a decade later, I actually opened and read it on that day. I laughed, cried, and marveled at how teenage Me imagined life in my twenties.

It’s a practice I’ve returned to many times over the years. Recently, I found a poem I wrote during the height of the pandemic in that spirit: words from my older self to my younger self… and back again.

We often look outward for answers, forgetting how much wisdom we already hold within. Writing to yourself can be a quiet act of remembering. A way to tune into that inner voice which is gentle, steady, and often drowned out by the noise of daily life.

Try it sometime. Write that letter. You might be surprised by what you already know!

✨✨✨

A letter to my younger self:
Don’t listen to the noise.
Listen to your thrumming heart, your churning gut, your humming soul.
Listen only to sounds from within.
Pay no mind to the clutter, the clatter, the cacophony that says you are not worthy,
says that you are wrong,
says that you are too much,
says that you are not enough.
Get quiet, and remember that you,
and only you,
know.

A letter to my older self:
See above.

✨✨✨

Curious to hear: What would you write in a letter to your younger self? Your older self? Drop a line in the comments alet’s share the wisdom with each other

✨Yesterday, I shared some tips for staying grounded as we approach the summer solstice and enter the warmer, brighter days of the year✨. One of those tips was to start your day with an early morning walk in nature. 🌼

I had a particularly sweet stroll this morning, so I thought I’d share some of what I experienced with you, and all the funny little conversations I had with animal friends and the elements. 🐓🐿️🐜💧Nature definitely provides the best sound baths.

If you take a morning walk this week, I want to see what you encounter! Tag me in snapshots and videos of the magic you find along your path. Let’s inspire each other with the simple moments of beauty that surround us each day. ✨💕🙏🏻🥰

🌿 Flashback to my first group sound bath, outside among the trees on a beautiful autumn morning; with the sounds of the city providing the background to the frequencies of my crystal bowls.

I remember how nervous I was, and how hopeful. 🙏🏻

I didn’t know exactly where this path would take me, only that I had to follow the frequencies. 🤩

Since then, I’ve had the honor of guiding many people through sound bath experiences in living rooms, studios, office buildings, and beyond. Each experience has deepened my love for this work, and my trust in its magic. 💕

That very first sound bath was a beautiful beginning. And now, I’m excited to return to the open air for my next event, this time on a rooftop, as twilight descends on the city. ✨

One of the most frequent questions I get about sound baths is— “did I do it right”?

There are so many different experiences that can happen during sound baths— and even if you’ve been to dozens of sound baths, you may have a different experience every time.
Every journey is unique, and the best thing you can do is show up with an open mind and a little curiosity.

Some people feel deeply relaxed, others get emotional, and sometimes, you feel like your mind won’t stop racing… and that’s all okay. Whatever comes up for you is valid, and nothing needs to be fixed, judged, or corrected.

The invitation is to greet your experience with compassion, and treat yourself as you would a dear friend. If your thoughts wander, let them. If you get fidgety, no worries. There’s no test here and no one you have to impress— just time to soften, to notice, and to be present with yourself.

A sound bath is your space to simply be with no pressure, no expectations, and nothing to do but lie back and allow it to wash over you. See where the sound takes you, and appreciate that whatever you get from the experience is exactly what you need in that moment. 🥰🙏🏻🧘🏻‍♀️💫

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Here are some commitments I’ve made in 2025 to take better care of the planet:

- Buy less, re-use more.
- No more fast fashion, instead clothing rental + vintage shopping.
- Shop local, and avoid big box retailers and mega delivery services, especially ones that have supported policies that harm the planet and its people/animals.

Here are some things I want to do better at:
- More biking, less driving. I need a new bike, so if you hear of anyone selling theirs, let me know!
- Less single use plastic. I can be lazy with cooking, and buy more plastic-encased prepared food than I like. I’m lucky to have a lot of options around me to purchase food in more sustainable packaging, so need to start doing so!
- Eat a more plant based diet. I gave up eating meat and dairy for a while, but found that I was lacking protein and calcium. I’d love to adjust my diet to get more of the nutrients I need, but without supporting unsustainable farming practices.

My biggest commitment is to spend more time in the wild. I’m lucky to be surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, mountains, and some of the best botanical gardens in Southern California… but I’m craving more chances to slip off the beaten path and escape the crowds, noise, and traffic that can accompany some of Los Angeles’ popular nature spots. Take me into the woods! It’s there that we remember that we are part of nature, and not separate from it.

There are so many ways we can make small differences in our day to day lives. Let me know what you’re doing to be kind to Momma Earth today, and beyond. ⭐️☀️🌊❤️

After a challenging winter in Los Angeles, I’m feeling extra appreciative for spring this year. It’s a season that invites us to come out from our slumber and embrace new beginnings.

It’s also a season for gathering, which makes it such a lovely time for a sound bath— whether you’re hosting an Easter brunch, celebrating Mother’s Day, or blessing a new baby.

I create customized sound bath experiences for groups and gatherings. A sound bath infuses events with relaxed vibes, and creates opportunities for meaningful connection and reflection with your guests.

Some ocassions that are perfect for a private sound bath:

1. Easter Gatherings: Begin your Easter morning with a sound bath, inviting guests to reflect on renewal and gratitude before festivities commence. 🐰
2. Mother’s Day Celebration: Offer your Mother a heartfelt moment of relaxation and appreciation with a curated sound bath experience. 💜
3. Baby’s Blessing or Naming Ceremony: A gentle sound bath can provide a peaceful ambiance for blessing ceremonies. 👶🏼
4. Bachelorette or Pre-Wedding Celebration: Create a mindful experience for brides-to-be and their friends with a calming sound bath. It’s a perfect way to infuse relaxation into the sometimes stressful wedding planning process. 👰🏻

I’m currently booking provate group sound baths for April and May, and I’d love to curate an experience for you and your guests. Get in touch!

Just popping in to say YAY, mercury goes direct today and we are through the spring eclipse season. 💕🙌🏻😍

This feels like a great week to take stock, and prepare to move forward. I’m traveling this week, and on the journey I plan to reflect on these questions:

⭐️What feels IN alignment in my life, and how can I cultivate more of those energies?
⭐️What feels OUT of alignment in my life, and what small changes can I make to shift away from those energies?

⭐️Where in my life is there room for more playfulness, fun, and joy?
⭐️Where in my life is there room for more focus, structure, and support?

⭐️Who are the people that make me feel uplifted and inspired, and how can I expand those relationships?
⭐️Who are the people who make me feel drained and disconnected, and how can I shift from those relationships?

⭐️How can I be of greater service in my community?

Let me know if you reflect on these questions yourself— I’d love to hear what comes up for you. 🌈

Oh hai Spring! 🌿🌷🍃

It’s the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, and I was reading that it’s the time of year when the Earth’s axis is tilted neither towards or away from the sun, leading to the same amount of day and evening hours. It made me think about balance- always an elusive concept, and one that has felt extra hard to achieve lately.

I started this year with a lot of optimism, and an intention to “thrive”, but almost from the get-go, life hit with challenge after challenge that made it hard to find the equilibrium and steadiness I’ve been seeking.

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself that balance isn’t about perfection—it’s about learning to flow with the shifts. As the Spring Equinox arrives, I’m leaning into practices that help me feel grounded and centered, even when life feels chaotic. One of those practices has been sound baths—a powerful way to calm my mind, reset my energy, and reconnect with my intentions.

So here’s to embracing the energy of the season: finding moments of stillness in the noise, creating space for growth, and trusting that even in the messiness, we can still thrive. 🌸✨

Friends, how are you finding balance in these times? Send me your tips, because it’s mercury retrograde and we’ve got another eclipse coming, so we’re going to need to do ALLLLL the things! 🙏🏻
