This weekend, I’m starting a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator training, and I’m excited to begin weaving deeper breath practices into my sound bath experiences.
I explored a lot of options before choosing this one. What stood out was the way it honors the depth of breathwork and the responsibility of those guiding it. Breathwork can be incredibly powerful, and it’s important for me to learn in a space that emphasizes integrity, presence, and how to support people through whatever arises.
I’ll be honest: I’m also a little nervous. It’s been a while since I’ve been in student mode, and learning in my late 40s doesn’t feel quite the same as it did in my 20s. I’m reminding myself that growth doesn’t have to be fast or flashy, and that I don’t need to measure my experience against anyone else’s—including past versions of myself. All the grace!
That said, my inner nerd is thrilled.🤓 I love learning, and I’m so ready to dive into new knowledge and deepen my practice.
I’ll be starting the training Friday and will share my experience going through the experience, so follow along if you’re curious! And if you’re a breathwork practitioner or fan, I’d love to hear any insights or tips you have in the comments. Let’s learn together. 💨✨
