PLANT-BASED FAST FOOD?

That’s right!

I’m actually talking about supermarket salad bars, and the cooked foods section.

From roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts to beets, kale or pasta salad.

Whole Foods has a plate option where you can pick one protein and two sides, or you can do what I do and sub your protein for another side to have a full plant-based meal.

Whole Foods, Sprouts, Ralph’s and Bristol farms are some of the supermarkets I go to for plant-based meals and salads, but I happened to come across a great salad bar at Raley’s in Northern California.

Even on the road I still eat oats 😅

Eating out and eating healthy is absolutely possible.

1) remember your why
2) focus on fruits and veggies
3) look for whole grains and lean meats.
4) add avocado! 🥑

Avoid:
1) baked sugary foods
2) drinks with added sugar and fruit juices (cold pressed and fresh is okay)
3) cold cuts (ham, salami, pepperoni, sausage)

It is not always easy to identify when stress has become a threat to our physical or mental health.

If you are currently experiencing any of these symptoms, then it’s time to make some changes in your life.

Stress contributes to illness by 1) causing the mind and body to become exhausted 2) weakening the immune system 3) motivating unhealthy behaviors.

If you want to make long lasting changes, you must find ways to keep stress under control.

Daily exercise and eating nutrient rich foods instead of processed foods can significantly lower stress levels.
