Happy 2026! Year of the Fire Horse!!

Starting the year off with deep gratitude and appreciation. Als exciting to begin my 16th year of practice! So excited for what this new year will bring!

Does anyone have any themes or fun goals for the year?

Mine is to try to make more time to travel and to allow for a little more rest and connection.

I love this whole body opener..all you need is a foam roller or a stack of pillow to lift your spine off the floor. Simply get on to the roller and tuck your chin to elongate your neck; and press your lowback into the foam roller so that your whole spine is on the foam roller and simply deep belly breath.

This is a great reset you can do as much as you want and anywhere you can to open up your body and create space and breath in your spine!

I love this stretch bc it really targets your Psoas and your hip flexors. These muscles become shortened and often weak over time when you sit for too long or are sedentary. Using the foam roller, or a pillow, anything to get your hips up off the ground, allows you to stretch the hip flexors a lot deeper than you could when you just do a basic standing quad stretch. This move massaged the lowback while elongating your hips flexors and it feels amazing!

So try it out! I love to do 3 sets of 5 a side daily!

I think a lot of us do a gratitude journal or think of things we are grateful for. But I think sometimes we forget to take actual physical actions to show our bodies gratitude. So find a way daily to show gratitude to your body by moving, exercising as well as balancing rest, to live in a vibration of gratitude.
