You know who you are constantly in a relationship with and who will never, ever leave your side? Yourself.
You have to life with yourself.

Having my romantic relationship pulled from under me within the last 2 weeks of my life has made me check in with myself in a responsible way I see now that I haven’t done (consistently) for a year. Periodically, yes. Consistently? No.

I’m feeling heart ache in a new way I haven’t felt before. All pain is unique. The pain is deep right now but my foresight sees the gift. I refuse to be toxic positive though. I only care to be real and luckily, I have my art forms to use as therapy.

Romantic relation will ALWAYS be the deepest mirror for us humans that pulls up layers in our whole nature that no other relationship dynamic ever could because our lovers touch every part of our beingness.

That’s why my soul loves them so much.
I truly see them as partnerships in this level of awareness... but when that partnership ends as it was, that lover role is still teaching.

I am now learning from grief, surrender, detachment, change, adaptation, acceptance and unraveling.

I am challenged in knowing my self worth and deepening my self love.

I am also reflecting on all of the things I loved so much about this person so that I can embody them myself for myself while feeling gratitude for seeing what I love more clearly.

It’s a process and I’m in the thick of it.
It’s been a beautiful year and it’s ending much differently than I thought it would but that’s life! The curve balls keep us on our toes, our maturity growing and our stories expansive. I’m leaning in because that’s what Goddesses do.

Sharing my authentic journey is my way of normalizing all we go through in life as human beings, not just the easy parts, so that shame is not something we need to carry for no logical reason.
We are human and that has a lot of complexity.

Community is everything and so is solitude.
Honoring both.

It’s not about controlling your thoughts or directing them, even if they don’t align with your feeling, it’s just about harnessing the feeling like an anchor you dropped within you ⚓️ and attuning back to it time and time again.

Wanting to be on “stage” and share myself with the world in a way of performance, athleticism, leadership, power, connection, artistic expression and vulnerability is an unstoppable feeling that drums at me as loud as the Jumanji game until I keep answering the call.

And when I do, in some way and in some form, I feel strong. I feel smart. I feel life run through me. I feel a communication with the universe that says “thank you” for listening and I nod with pleasure and say thank you for guiding me.

And then you’ll know to keep going.
Without a doubt.

Who we idolize is one of the strongest mirrors 🪞 into our own souls that help us put together our own road maps in life… directing us to what we uniquely care to pursue and HOW we care to pursue it.

When I reconnect to my various idols and the reasons why I LOVE them (the ones pictured above or the many not like my Mom, sister, daughter, Martin Luther King Jr, Oprah, JLo & more..)

I find answers.
I get really inspired.
I get so motivated that it feels like I’m on drugs… which is really high vibrations.

Then I embody that through my own authentic passion and share that with the world without question. Through my fearlessness, I too step into my purpose of living in my purpose which simultaneously allows me to become an Idol to drive others too.

The nature of life is cyclical like that.
And I’m grateful for my idols injecting me with sparks that light my path. Then I get to share this to help light yours.

Staying inspired is a daily choice.
Staying connected, is a daily choice.
Staying in love, is a daily choice.
It all takes effort.
And if it’s worth it to you.. do what needs to be done.

Yes for this intro. I started perceiving the camera the same way I perceive God; only here to help me in every way I desire. This is a winning perception!

The camera helps me “see” myself, execute my visions, reach YOU, and gives me endless opportunities.

Sometimes I can be extremely self critical. More than you know, and the camera can also serve in that opposing way too. It serves our perception.

When I remind myself that this is just a lens of God, I step into a space where I become my own best cheerleader
filled with constructive criticism and so much love for my passionate, commitment to keep growing with dance. Period. The 🔑 is to stay focused on THAT!

I fu***ng love my new Monday night Foundational classes with you. The energy is seriously incredible! This full video featuring my simple floor work combo to “Rude Boy” is dropping tomorrow on my YouTube channel. Then I’m filming a tutorial for it during the dat and at night… I have another sold out class baby! 🥰🥳
