Cada ves que comparto acabamos de abrir, it feels like just yesterday. Y el otro día someone shared, pues ya van a ser 6 meses and I couldn’t believe it. We’ve made it this far! Completely autonomous, with no financial backing - pero con una visión rooted in deep love and care. Beyond a soul calling, it is prophesy femmifested.

Pero to keep our doors open, we need our community! We can’t do it alone and we never intended to. Calling in all the apoyo y bendiciones.

Ramos y Resistencia | Valentines Day Edition 💐

Tlazocamtli to all who supported our efforts. With our previous event, we were able to buy out another vendor. A mujer in her 70’s who has challenges with her vision, can’t pay for medical care and is behind on rent - was able to safely go home and spend time with their loved ones instead of risking su livelihood en la calle. We are working on seeing how we can best be of support and direct additional resources.

As the day comes to a close, acuérdense que cada día que estamos vivos es algo que celebrar. Especialmente en estos tiempo difíciles, tenemos que unirnos y apoyarnos.

We almost sold out! Stop by tomorrow to purchase a bouquet and support street vendors.

The most beautiful flowers are those from local street vendors.

$30 - $35 Sliding Scale

50% of profits will go to street vendor buyouts and 50% will go to keeping our space open. Third spaces are essential for organizing, resisting, and healing.

Colectivo Cihuateotl aims to reconnect us with our sacredness through cultural arts and wellness. We are dedicated to the sovereignty and liberation of all people.

Cihuateotl is a mesoamerican dieti - an embodiment of the cyclical process of death and creation. They are celestial beings who live in the West, Cihuatlampa, and serve as conduits between the physical and spiritual realms. Cihuateotl honors the mujeres guerreras who passed in the act of giving birth. While Cihuatl most commonly translates to woman, I reclaim and expand our understanding of Cihuatl to embody feminine energy - that which we all have within us no matter of our gender identity. Teotl translate to creator. The spirit of Colectivo Cihuateotl embodies this energia.
