Do you frequently experience PMS and painful cramps during your period?

Bai Shao is the white peony root. It is a great gynecological herb because it nourishes the blood. It also has the ability to soothe & regulate the Liver, which in Traditional Chinese medicine, plays an important role in menstruation and menstrual blood.
Irregular and painful menstruation can occur if the Liver Qi is unable to flow freely in our body and instead become stagnated.

Bai Shao can be used for PMS, painful, irregular periods, and abnormal uterine bleeding or discharge. ✨

Bai Shao is a main ingredient in the very potent pain relief formula called Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang. This formula can treat a variety of pain in the body.

Hyper-arousal is an abnormal state of increased response to a stimuli. Hyper-arousal is common in individuals suffering from insomnia, anxiety, and PTSD. It stems from a dysregulated nervous system, where our sympathetic nervous system has been working overtime activating our "fight or flight" mode in response to chronic stress or perceived threats.

Acupuncture has been proven through research studies to have the ability to rebalance our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. It helps us get out of a heightened state of fight or flight. Acupuncture also brings forth a sense of overall calmness in the body which you can feel almost immediately.
