A reminder to look back at your own progress ☀️

I thought you might like to see the list I made for myself yesterday. Progress since starting Pilates

��No more plantar fasciitis
��Almost no cramping in thigh/groin
��Almost no baker’s cyst issues
��Significantly reduced arthritis symptoms in the left knee
��Increased and increasing leg strength
��Continued successful rehabbing of meniscus tears
��Increased and increasing hip mobility, strength, and balance
��No flare-up of back pain as exercise has increased
��Some improvements in upper body strength
��Improving balance
��Some improvement in posture
��Some improvement in body awareness and coordination
��Ability to continue rehabbing through flare-ups and setbacks

As you’ll come to find out those little stabilizing muscles mean a whole lot when it’s wide awake and saying its first hello in a long time 👋🏽

As someone who’s dealt with the chronic pains and multiple trips for mri’s now I know theres a deeper level to these little firey movements than what we feel in the moment.

My latest feedback was “I just never felt those before… my back felt so good after”

Those are the secrets they need to feel before they know it

Fall prevention starts at 40-50 and even earlier if you know you tend to “run into things” or trip constantly.

Some neurodivergence can also increase risks due to attention difficulties.

Starting small helps just as much as the daily life activities we do from gardening to taking care of family 🙌🏽
