“Condoms are your frontline defense for reducing sexual exposure- protecting against STls and unintended pregnancies. By providing a barrier, condoms prevent the exchange of bodily fluids like semen, vaginal fluids, and blood, which are common pathways for transmitting infections. Less direct contact means fewer opportunities for viruses and bacteria to spread.

Using condoms means you’re protecting yourself not just from your partner, but from everyone they’ve been with before you. Less exposure = fewer risks. Stay safe 💕

World AIDS Day is EVERYDAY here @ HIV.eLA!!! It’s a global day of solidarity to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, support those living with the virus, and remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. It was the first-ever global health day, established in 1988, and is an opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV and to combat stigma surrounding the disease. At HIV.e we are dedicated to this fight. The HIV.E’s mission is to Educate, Test, Support, and Prevent new HIV infections in Los Angeles County. Showing up for yourself is showing up for others! So get tested and reach out to us to get involved.

HIV don’t discriminate, yall! It’s time to bust the myth that HIV is a ‘gay man’s disease! This outdated stereotype harms all communities by spreading stigma and misinformation. HIV affects people of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. Together, let’s break down these barriers and educate for a stigma-free world.
