I don’t know who I’m talking to but the Spirit of the Lord is saying, “You didn’t wait.”
Somebody is experiencing a deep and painful process and you’ve been doing everything except wait on the Lord. Your emotions are in charge, and the enemy is using you to abuse your mind.
In an unfamiliar place, in an unexpected place, you have to wait on the Lord by waiting in the Lord. Wait in prayer, wait in the fruit, wait in the word. Wait in praise, wait in speaking life.
The strength you need, the clarity you need, the boldness you need to handle this thing, to get back up, to resist the devil, is in your wait.
The Bible declares, “Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD” (Psalm 27:14). You need what God has for you before you can do what God said you could do. You’re not in a position or condition to fight. This is your waiting season...
If you wait on the Lord, the Bible declares, “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
You’re not just waiting on God, you’re waiting in God. In His promise, in His truth, in His Holy Spirit. Put down the weight and pick up your wait. God is going to give you what you need, send what you need, show you what you need, to do what you need to do.
The battle is not yours, it’s the Lords. Wait for your marching orders, wait for your clarity, wait for your mind to stop running, wait for your doubt to stop leading. Wait on the Lord.
I need some folks who are in a waiting season to decree and declare, “I will wait on the Lord!”
