I posted this as a story…but, this really deserves a permanent place on the grid. I recently submitted over 50% of my textbook to my publisher. And the feeling joy when I pushed that send button was huge.

I’m on track to have the entire manuscript completed later this year, with the anticipated publication date of Spring 2027. This has already been such an immense journey. I cannot wait for this book to be out in the world. It’s going to provide a strong foundation for so many OT students and practitioners to move forward in their maternal health journeys. I am endlessly grateful to the amazing contributors who have been involved so far. Truly a dream team.

Published! A huge thank you to Dr. Hannah Slootjes for involving me in this important text. This book should be in every occupational therapy program’s library and in the hands of every occupational therapy practitioner. Truly such an honor to be published alongside so many brilliant and inspiring occupational therapy colleagues.

Celebrating a big milestone…Supported Mama has officially turned FIVE years old!🎉🥳 🥰

And this also feels like the perfect time to announce that I have been working on an incredibly special project for a while now. My textbook, “Maternal Health: A Foundational Guide for Occupational Therapy Practitioners,” is scheduled to be released in early 2027! I can hardly even believe the list of skilled therapists that have are contributing to this important text. It’s going to be SO awesome 🤩

I am in awe of the amazing people I have met through my work. The clients who have allowed me to provide them with care along their path. The many inspiring colleagues I’ve had the honor of getting to know and building relationships with. The most fulfilling work that fills my heart with gratitude every single day. It is all truly such a gift 🥰 Looking forward to the next five years and beyond…

Last weekend was a very special annual conference. Not only was I able to present on a topic near and dear to my heart alongside the brilliant , but I was also a recipient of the OTAC President’s Award in acknowledgment of my advocacy efforts related our success in getting the school-credential bill to the Governor’s desk this year.

Truly honored. I love my profession ❤️

August 2020. I had just filed the paperwork to launch Supported Mama. After waiting in a very long, socially distanced line. Feeling so proud of the milestone and recognizing that it was a pretty big deal. But also deeply immersed in my moment to moment life of being mama to a 1-year old during a pandemic. So, that night, we just played in the floor.

How much things have changed since then. The world. My little one. My business. Me.

What started as a nagging idea in the back of my mind, has grown into a flourishing, impactful, brick and mortar clinical practice. I continue to be in awe of the amazing humans who step into the space and allow me be a part of their healing jouney.

It is the most humbling, fulfilling work and I couldn’t be more full of gratitude.

Cheers to 4 years of Supported Mama! 🎉 Thank you for being here with me ❤️ I look forward to what the next 4 years will bring…

So excited to have just picked up my copy of this amazing book at 🥰

It was such an honor to be interviewed by as a part of her writing process. This important conversation needs to be out into the world and the voice that she brings to the experience is such a powerful vessel to carry the message forward. I’m only a few pages in and have already been brought to tears. There is such a massive gap here that needs deep attention. Hi! It’s me! Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the new faces around here. What better way than in a bejeweled crown??

I’m a licensed occupational therapist with lots of letters after my name, that basically mean that I love learning and am always trying to further my skills to be able to better serve you. My passion is helping women feel nurtured and empowered. Safe, resilient, and strong in their bodies. I am here to help you with all of the things that people often shy away from talking about. Challenges with intimacy. Pelvic floor issues like leakage and prolapse. Diastasis recti and deep core muscles that need a little help to get working. I am here to listen and support you.
