Hello everyone 😀 I'm Laura, Italian, 56 years old. I live in the countryside just north of Rome and I work in our beautiful capital city. I'm vegetarian since 1992 because I love animals. I've got an insane passion for cats (I've got 7 cats at home plus my stray cats of a cat colony) ❤️ This one in the picture was Grigiotto (Big Grey, I'd say in english) he was the boss of my cat colony and sadly passed away few months ago. I love foreign languages especially english and spanish, reading books, watching movies, hiking. One of my biggest passion is football, we Italians are crazy for this sport and I like going to the the Olimpico Stadium in Rome to support my Lazio 💙 One of my dreams is to live great part of the year in London, the city I do adore. It's impossible, but never stop dreaming! Sorry for any grammar mistakes 😬 Have a nice Sunday!

Hi. My name is Cassandra. People, usually at the doctor's office, ask me if I want to be called Cassandra, or Cassondra or Cassie or something else. I don't care... Whatever, you want to call me, I'm sure will be fine. I really don't care... Not anymore... I've been called far worse than any of those names, I'm pretty sure...
I'm 65, I knew I needed to make some friends so I went and watched Karaoke for months. People tried to get me to sing but I said, I don't sing. Then one night I got pulled up to sing with some drunks ladies. Now, I always sing. Sometimes I'm not real bad, sometimes I'm okay. I don't care if I stink though. I really just don't care... Not anymore...They've heard worse, I'm pretty sure...
I live in the northwest part of the USA. I wear size 7ww shoe. I have wide feet and now I have bunions. Lucky me. But I don't care... Not anymore... Some people have worse feet than mine, I'm pretty sure.
I have had a lot of surgeries. I have a few diseases. I've been married and divorced twice. I have two daughters and three grandchildren. I live alone except with my dog and two cats. I have bachelor's degrees in both Psy and Fine and Applied Art. I never went to work after I got my degrees because I got sick again. And, I took care of other people too. I did a good job, I'm pretty sure.
And, I tried to take care of me. But I didn't do so good. I was neglected. And I was abused. And I hid it the best I could. But, not anymore. Not me... Nope, not anywhere... Never again.... I'm pretty sure... Yep, I'm pretty sure! A dull life, is just fine with me! Yep, I'm so darn sure and I care about that! ❤️

Hello fellow dullies, I've finally plucked up my courage to introduce myself. I am in my mid 50s and currently living in Honolulu. Instead of going to the beach, I like to watch British mysteries, try new spf wrinkle creams, and garden in my free time. Recently I've gotten good at flipping slugs the size of banana peels over our wall when I catch them on the basil. My new favorite exercise.
I am trying to encourage insects to our patio garden, so far hand pollinating is the only way I managed to produce one tiny zucchini. The male flowers just don't seem that interested in the females, or vice versa. I'm considering playing a little Barry White thru the window at night. I'm just afraid the geckos and flying cockroaches will hear and we don't need anymore of them!
We always have local bananas around. Size 7 shoe but prefer to be barefoot. .

Well, I'm home from surgery. They were able to do a lumpectomy instead of a full mastectomy as the chemo had shrank the tumor far enough. Which is good because I was able to come home same-day rather than overnighting in the hospital and I don't have to lose sensation on that side as I would have with a mastectomy.
Grateful to all of my Dull Lady friends for well wishes and such. Thank you for caring.

Okay ladies and lads, serious question. I've heard an opinion that if you're in a relationship with a person whom native language isn't the same as yours, you should learn their language. I'm Polish, she's Venezuelan. Spanish for me is much easier than Polish for her. I need to know your opinion on the matter: should you learn your SO's native language, doesn't matter how difficult it is, doesn't matter that you wouldn't EVER use it?

At the age of 29, I realized I was ready for marriage but NOT for a wedding while dealing with parents from two very different families. My fiance and I grabbed a marriage license and headed for the tacky tourist town of Branson, Missouri, only to learn that their wedding chapel had burned down. One option was to cross the state line into Miami, Oklahoma, where my parents lived and get married at the even tackier Laverne’s Wedding Parlor, which required no waiting time for a license. The other option was to go to the nearest courthouse in Springfield, Missouri, and snag a judge to utilize our existing marriage license. We opted to stay safely away from proximity to family, and found a judge who didn’t make me promise to obey my husband as part of our wedding vows! But alas, we forgot to take a picture . . . .
Forty years later, our 40th wedding anniversary (the Ruby Anniversary,) fell on a Tuesday. Obviously our only option for an anniversary dinner was to drive three hours to the nearest Ruby Tuesday Restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa. This time we remembered to get a picture—underneath the Ruby Tuesday sign! 😀

Hi i’m Lisa long time reader first time poster. Soon to be 67, divorced since 2009. I have two children and four grandchildren. My son died in September of 2021 of Covid. My daughter and her family are going to be moving out of state in the next month. I find myself feeling lost. I no longer know what my purpose in life is. I’ve always liked to craft and have craft supplies galore but I can’t even get interested in that. Anyone else having this issue as you get older? Size 8 shoe 👟 no banana.

Not particularly dull but I'm wondering if anyone in the US is experiencing the same with Facebook lately.
I've been seeing a lot of posts mocking women lately. I fly a little so I follow a lot of aviation groups, and those are the posts mostly related to mocking women in aviation. Some accounts with a male name, or an account called Tradwife with an image of a 50s housewife as an avatar. Thousands of men - not sure, real or bots - are commenting in the most degrading manner. Such as, women can't even drive, their place is in the kitchen, etc. I think it's the new US propaganda machine at work. Reporting these posts did not produce results. I keep blocking them but posts like this pop up again, today it's been non stop. I'm so disappointed in FB. A pic of me flying, didn't have a banana on board.

Hi! I'm new to this group. I recently joined because where else would a single boring 62 year old belong?!
I live in Virginia (central)… been here almost 40 years. I grew up in York PA home of the peppermint pattie(yes I had my fair chair). I played the glockenspiel in our high school band. Claim to fame, we played 1/2 time for the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills. I got to meet and smack OJ Simpson on the ars!
I am an amateur gardener, rescue dog lover, Bloody Mary on Sundays kind of girl. I like word find and steer clear of crossword puzzles. My home is decorated in all second hand shop decor. I am an amateur decorator which I love.
Other than all that I still work full time come home cook dinner and go to bed at 9.
My shoe size is an 8 in Toms, 9 in Converse and 9.5 in Vans.
