If you don’t already follow Sarah here or on TikTok I highly recommend it!
She has given me so many tools while I navigate my relationship with food.
This year we are listening to our bodies and trusting that they know what we need.
We are also letting go of alllll negative thoughts about our bodies.
This is the year we get complete freedom from diet culture and negative relationships with food!

TW: ED
Reposting this photo of 16 year old me because every time it comes about around in my “memories” my heart sinks.
This was at the very beginning of my ED days when I was living off of carrot sticks and black coffee…solely.
I remember having horrific anxiety each night as I put that spandex suit on because I was so convinced I was incredibly overweight and everyone was going to stare at me, and only me, on that stage.
Looking at this photo now I’m only noticing how thin I was.
This is why I encourage clients to take photos along the way of their wellness journey; even if you file them away and don’t look at them. Whether it’s weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, anti inflammatory, whatever the goal, sometimes you can’t see the bigger picture when you’re in the thick of it.
My heart breaks for little me but I feel grateful to have the reminder of how far I’ve come.

Mind blowing to look back at that first photo. I remember thinking that was as healthy/curly my hair could get.
Now, two years later my curls are getting more and more defined!
My big three tips for healthier hair that work for all hair types are:
#1 Stop using all products with sulfates and parabens
#2 wash your hair in warm water not hot
#3 Wear silk/satin scarf around your hair while you sleep or switch to silk/satin pillowcases
Bonus tip: stop bleaching your hair if you do 😝
I have MANY more hair care tips so let me know if you want me to share them!

Back in September, I decided to get back into strength training and I set my goal at 200lbs (my personal record in 2017), not sure if I could get back up there seeing as I’m not 22 anymore.

This week I lifted 195lbs…3 times

Sometimes we need to set realistic goals in order to safely work toward them.
But sometimes, sometimes we need to set goals that seem JUST out of reach because you never know when you’re going to surprise yourself.

Want to set your own strength training goal? DM me and I can help!
