‎در آستانه سالگرد کشتار و آغاز خروش جهان‌گیر ، میزبان شیدا محمدی خواهیم بود، شاعری که تصویر را در واژه می‌چکاند و معنا را –ناچکانده– در ذهن مخاطب خود شکل می‌دهد. در این برنامه از مجموعه انجمن شعر پارسی لس آنجلس از او می‌شنویم و صدایمان را به صدایش گره زده و روزهایی روشن، از پس تیرگی‌ها، آرزو می‌کنیم. این برنامه حضوری توسط کتابخانه همگانی لس آنجلس با همکاری شرکت کتاب برپا شده و شرکت در آن برای همگان آزاد و رایگان است.

دکتر مکس رهنی و رامین نادری
#باغ و #باغداری جایگاهی ویژه در زندگی مردمان فلات #ایران داشته است. باغ یک ارگانیسم زنده در زندگی اجتماعی، فرهنگی، اقتصادی و حتا سیاسی مردم بوده و هست. از رویکردی ادبی، سده پس از سده، باغ الهام بخش شاعران بوده است؛ پوشش گیاهی باغ، جانوران ساکن یا رهگذر باغ، ساختمان و معماری باغ، کارکنان و ساکنان در باغ، بوها و مزه هایی که در باغ حس می شدند، دنیایی تشکیل دادند که شاعران در آن سرودند. در برنامه این ماه درباره بازنمون های سازه‌ی باغ در گویان سخن خواهیم گفت.

بدیهیان، مهناز (۲۰۲۳). زنی می آید، در زنانی که با قلب من عاشق می شوند. لس آنجلس: شرکت کتاب.

در گفتگو با مهناز بدیهیان از «زنانی که با قلب من عاشق می شوند» سخن خواهیم گفت؛ از شعرهایی که زاده شده‌اند تا چهل سال عشق و خشم و فراق و نوستالژیا را واژه کنند و بر برگ‌های ۱۴۴گانه‎ای بچکانند که این احساس‎های نادیدنی را برایمان خواندنی کنند. مهناز بدیهیان عضو شاعران انقلابی سانفرانسیسکو است، عمری را در نگاشتن و خواندنی کردن نگاشته‌های دیگران گذرانده و برای نگاشته‌هایش جایزه‌های چندی دریافت کرده است. در این برنامه از کتاب مجموعه شعرش رونمایی خواهیم کرد. با شرکت در این برنامه، ساعتی را در کنار شعر و شاعران خواهید گذراند و می‌توانید پرسش‌های خود را از مهناز بدیهیان بپرسید.

Please join us in a discussion of Mahnaz Bahdihian’s recently published book, the Women Who Fall in Love with My Heart. We will talk about forty years of love, outrage, yearning, and nostalgia that she has carved into a vocabulary imprinted on 144 pages to give us the opportunity of reading the intangible. Mahnaz (Oba) is an award-winning poet and translator whose work has been published in multiple languages worldwide. She is an active member of the Revolutionary Poets Brigade of San Francisco. In addition to the talk, you will have a chance to ask your questions at the end of the program.

تغییر کیش اجباری یهودیان در شعر پارسی
سخنرانان: دکتر علی فلاحیان و بیژن خلیلی
پنجشنبه، ٢۵ می ۲۰۲۳، ساعت ۶ بعد از ظهر (به وقت غرب امریکا)
یهودیان سرزمین پارس به شدت توسط حاکمان سلسله صفوی (۱۵۰۱ تا ۱۷۲۲ میلادی) مورد آزار قرار گرفتند. بابایی بن لطف کاشانی در کتاب انوسی رویدادهای تاریخی، فرهنگی و اقتصادی و اجتماعی زمان خود را با بهره گیری از شعر روایی بازگو می کند. او در این کتاب از سه موج مجازات و کشتار یهودیان نام می برد که به تغییر اجباری کیش یهودیان در دوران سلطنت شاه عباس دوم می انجامد. سرانجام، جدیدالاسلام ها با پرداخت مبلغی هنگفت امکان بازگشت به دین خود را باز یافتند (Netzer, 1993).
به بهانه انتشار کتاب انوسی با دکتر علی فلاحیان، مترجم و ویراستار بیژن خلیلی، کمک ویراستار و ناشر کتاب به گفتگو خواهیم نشست. اگر شاعر هستید و تمایل دارید شعر خود را در برنامه های ما بخوانید، لطفن با من تماس بگیرید.

Anusim: Coercive Conversion of the Jewish People in Persian Poetry
Speakers: Dr. Ali Fallahian & Bijan Khalili

The Jewish people were severely persecuted in the Safavid period (1501-1722) in Persia. In a Ketāb-e Anūsī, Bābāʾī ben Lotf of Kashan retells the cultural and socioeconomic history of the forced conversion of the Jewish community. (Netzer, 1993).
We will join a conversation with Dr. Ali Fallahian, translator and editor, and Bijan Khalili, assistant editor and publisher of this work. Then, we will open the floor to the local Persian poets. Developed and presented by the Los Angeles Public Library, this program is part of the Persian Poetry Forum of Los Angeles series. Your attendance is welcome and free. is the first contemporary that immediately comes to mind when we think of and Iranian . In addition to poetry, he spent his life in writing, journalism, teaching at the most prominent Iranian universities, and politics –as a member of the Parliament of Iran and the Minister of Culture and Education in the Cabinet of the then Prime Minister Ahmad Ghavam. Bahar’s poetry is widely known for its revival qualities: it is intimate and easy to understand, committed to the classical form of Persian poetry, yet it is infused with contemporary terms and concepts that are gently introduced to the traditional form to communicate his philosophical, social, and political beliefs. Bahar is held in the highest regard among the contemporary Persian poets. This month, Dr. Max Rahi will share a report of his research on Bahar with us and then we will open the floor to the local Persian poets.
