Let’s talk about friendships. Staying connected often takes intentional effort, and when we’re overwhelmed or carrying unprocessed feelings, it’s easy to start pulling away.

Sometimes that can look like not responding to texts. Or feeling socially drained even at the prospect of hanging out. Or feeling fatigued about having to explain yourself.

The truth is, building and maintaining community is a skill. It takes reflection, regulation, and intention.

How are you feeling in your friendships right now? And what might that say about what you need?

📓 You can journal with Stella, talk to a trained listener, or just start a chat and see what surfaces... right inside the UWC app.

Mr. Miso is here with some coffee thoughts to tell you -

Self-worth isn’t confidence. It’s not how loud you are in a room, how productive your week was, or how many people validate you. Self-worth is quieter than that. It’s how you speak to yourself when no one’s watching. It’s what you believe you deserve not in your best moments, but in your hardest ones.

When we tie our worth to performance, approval, or usefulness, we start to treat rest like failure and softness like weakness. We over-explain. We shrink. We chase love through overwork.

But your worth doesn’t disappear when you’re tired, unsure, or changing. It stays. Whether or not someone else sees it. Whether or not you’ve done anything today.

If that feels hard to hold onto, you can start small. You can remind yourself, gently. You can reflect with Stella in the UWC app—through journaling, through conversation, through real support.

You don’t have to earn being okay. You already are.

Carmy is a high-functioning Michelin-starred chef in the show The Bear. He’s talented, brilliant but emotionally a ticking time bomb. His character is a sharp illustration of how trauma can hide in plain sight, masked by ambition, control, and emotional shutdown. Carmy outsources emotional regulation to work.

Sometimes we need a little help to acknowledge and get out of patterns that we might be using as coping strategies, as does Carmy. On the United We Care app, you can talk to licensed therapists, book sessions with trained listeners, or take guided mental health assessments for free.

And Stella, our 24/7 companion, is always there to help you sort through the noise.

You’re already doing the work: thinking deeply, making decisions, chasing goals that matter to you. But even the most driven people need space to hear themselves clearly.

Through the UWC app, you can book sessions with qualified human listeners. These are trained professionals who are here to hold space for your ideas, reflections, and next steps. They don’t rush in with advice. They listen with care and help you access the clarity that’s already within you.

This isn’t therapy and it isn’t coaching. It’s a kind of support for thoughtful people who can recognise that pausing is an essential step in ultimately moving forward.

Open the app. Choose your listener. Experience what it feels like to be truly heard.

Not all yoga poses are created equal, especially when it comes to supporting mental wellness. Here are a few evidence-supported yoga poses that support emotional balance:

Child’s Pose (Balasana) – Calms the mind and reduces anxiety.

Legs-Up-the-Wall (Viparita Karani) – Encourages deep relaxation and improves sleep.

Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana) – Stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress.

Co**se Pose (Savasana) – Promotes deep mental stillness and emotional release.

Incorporating just 10–15 minutes of these poses into your daily routine can yield profound mental health benefits from practicing yoga regularly.
