HASC works to advance the interests of 182 hospital members representing 35 health systems in Southern California — while promoting quality, accessible health care. The Hospital Association of Southern California:

--Brings executives together from hospitals to develop consensus positions and resolve common issues.

--Develops relationships with representatives of the news media and conducts an ongoing public advocacy program.

--Provides numerous technical services, including issue advisories, data collection and analysis to improve quality and financial performance.

--Provides information services, including staff consultation, weekly news publications, educational programs, issue analyses and other services.

--Brings staff expertise and services closer to members through four regional offices--Riverside/San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange and Santa Barbara/Ventura.

Our Story: Leadership in Health Affairs

The Hospital Association of Southern California's (HASC) membership includes more than 178 public, private, not-for-profit and for-profit hospitals in six counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino.

Our mission is to lead, represent and serve hospitals and their related organizations, working collaboratively with our members and other stakeholders to improve health and health care in the communities we serve.

Through partnerships with California Hospital Association (CHA) and health care facilities, HASC works to influence the future of health care in a way that represents hospitals, their patients and communities.
