A fun weekend in LA, soaking in nature and family time with my sister and nieces ❤️

Grateful for this beautiful Los Angeles weather—hiking to the Hollywood sign in Griffith Park, followed by a swim in my pool. ☀️

Making more space in my life for joy, and returning to what truly matters…connection, presence, and slowing down enough to enjoy it all. ❤️

Happy Easter everyone 🙏

On our last night trekking to Mardi Himal, from .travel shared something that stayed with me after a week that was both challenging and deeply magical:

“Struggle makes you present. Comfort makes you numb.”

Now, as I settle back into the ease and familiarity of home, I find myself reflecting on these words.
Struggle sharpens our awareness. It asks us to pay attention—to feel into the edge of the experience.

When things are difficult, we become fully present… just like in a pose. We listen more closely, breathe more consciously, and connect to that inner voice that gently urges us forward.

The only way is through.

Comfort, when it becomes constant, can soften that edge. It’s easy to slip into autopilot, to move through our days without truly noticing the moment we’re in.

This doesn’t mean we seek out struggle.
But it does remind us that the practice is to stay awake—to meet each moment with presence, whether in ease or in challenge.

This retreat is filling beautifully, and here’s what remains:
• Small single room with private bathroom
• Two single rooms with shared bathroom
• Three shared rooms (including one triple)

Nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, this exquisite retreat center is just 40 minutes from Marrakech—yet feels worlds away. Quiet, serene, and surrounded by the healing sounds of nature, it’s the perfect space to reset and reconnect.

We’ll explore the vibrant old Medina of Marrakech, wander through the magical Anima Gardens, hike the majestic Atlas Mountains, and visit local Berber villages.

Practice twice daily with me in a fully equipped shala (yes—even Iyengar ropes), and nourish yourself with fresh, organic vegetarian meals.
✨ A chance to deepen your practice, immerse in nature, and experience the beauty of Morocco.

Last week I shared a video about the importance of feeling rooted and secure in the first chakra, known as Muladhara.

Once we establish a sense of safety and stability, we can begin to move that energy upward into the second chakra,
Svadhisthana—the center of sweetness, pleasure, and joy.
This is where we allow ourselves to feel, to experience life more fully, and to reconnect with the natural flow around us.

In yogic philosophy, one of the four aims of life is Kama—the experience of joy and pleasure. It’s an essential part of living a balanced and fulfilling life, and it supports us in aligning with our dharma.

As yogis, it’s easy to become rigid or overly disciplined. But true practice invites balance. It asks us to soften, to receive, and to bring more sweetness into our daily lives.

When we allow joy in, we open ourselves to greater creativity, ease, and flow.

How do you invite joy into your life? ✨

Since a young girl, I’ve always been devoted to health and wellness ; and I’ve learned that it isn’t a destination—
it’s a daily practice.

A lifestyle that takes discipline and dedication to practice, a healthy diet, and choosing to stay in a positive environment that helps me stay strong, grounded, and clear.

Living in a more holistic way and embodying tools like yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, and being in nature have continue to help me feel vibrant and healthy mentally and physically.

This for me, is where true happiness lives.

And as I get older, I’ve never felt more at home in myself and am grateful for the longevity that these practices can bring. 🙏

My Costa Rica Retreat July 5 - 12, 2026 to the Osa Peninsula is filling up and here is what I have left:

- A shared space with a full bath and views of the jungle and mountains from your own deck. Has a very spacious living room and suitable for 2 - 3 people.
- We’ve added a new villa called Casa Rio and have a two bedrooms left with a shared bath. You have access to an entire villa which includes kitchen, living room, deck, and yoga shala.

If you are interested please message me and for those that are on a budget, I might have one more shared space left.

We will be located right on the beach tucked away in the jungle with a surf break nearby. A fantastic yoga group is forming and I am very excited to be heading to Costa Rica this July to soak in retreat bliss!

My partner, and I took a three-day trip up to Big Bear to relax and renew this past weekend. After 2.5 months of nonstop teaching, my nervous system was calling for a reset—and I truly got it.

We also celebrated my birthday, and today marks one year since we were married in the beautiful mountains of Pokhara, Nepal.
Being married to Fitzjoy has brought a deep sense of stability and groundedness into my life. I am a happier more content person because of it. Our connection continues to evolve and strengthen, and as we move into this next chapter together. We’re realizing more and more what truly matters: time in nature, staying connected to each other, prioritizing our health and well-being, and inviting more joy into our lives! 💕

Feeling grateful, reset, and open to what’s ahead 🤍
