Dr. Farahnik (pronounced like the first names "Farrah" and "Nick") is a Naturopathic Physician (WA) and Naturopathic Doctor (CA) and a clinical researcher specializing in integrative medical care of neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson's, MS, memory mood), as well as gastrointestinal diseases (SIBO, IBS, IBD, GERD), chronic inflammatory conditions and viral infections (Long COVID, Chronic Fatigue
, Lyme), allergies, men's health and hormones, and environmental toxins, heavy metals, and molds.
He sees patients virtually around the world, as well as in-person visits in Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA.
Dr. Farahnik completed naturopathic medical school at Bastyr University and is currently finishing his Masters of Public Health (with a focus in epidemiology and biostatistics) at the University of Washington. He is passionate about evidence-based, integrative medicine, research, and increasing access to integrative interventions in healthcare. Prior to becoming a doctor he worked in the healing arts for 10 years, primarily as a clinical herbalist and East Asian Medicine Practitioner. Dr. Farahnik is passionate about discovering and treating the root cause of illness. He believes that one of his primary roles as a physician is to empower and educate patients, to collaborate on developing sustainable and accessible treatment plans, grounded in evidence informed medicine. He found naturopathic medicine many years ago after the conventional healthcare system failed to discover and address his chronic health issues. In realizing and experiencing the power of a holistic and integrated approach to medical care that helped bring him back to health, he knew this was his calling.
