Dr. Amirgholami Mahin Amirgholami, MD, FACOG, at West Hills OBGYN in West Hills, California, is a passionate physician who goes above and beyond to make her patients feel comfortable. Dr. Amirgholami believes trust is the cornerstone of the patient-doctor relationship and spends quality time listening to her patients’ needs and concerns so she can provide individualized care. She wants patients to make the most informed decisions about their care, taking extra time to educate them on their treatment options. Dr. Amirgholami began her medical training and career in Iran, then at age 40 relocated to the United States and completed her internship at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her residency as an honored resident in surgical skills at Tulane University in New Orleans. During her residency, Dr. Amirgholami received the prestigious Isadore Dyer, MD award for teaching excellence. She is a board-certified OB/GYN and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). Dr. Amirgholami is also a skilled surgeon and provides the latest in surgical advancements for women and is certified by the Intuitive Surgical Inc. for the da Vinci® Surgical System as a robotic surgeon for gynecological procedures. Dr. Amirgholami enjoys sharing her love for medicine with students and has clinical teaching privileges in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. For Dr. Amirgholami, being a physician is a passion. She has devoted her life to giving women the best healthcare possible.
