I can only speak for myself but I’m also a witness as well. It’s been a challenging time / era for all of us. We all have our personal challenges and then there’s the collective challenge of war. In amidst of this it’s feels easier to feel hopeless and helpless. I know I’ve felt this.

I had to reframe my perspective. Reframe my doubts. Reframe my brain. These questions are from a book called True Purpose that I thought was so insightful in guiding me out of paralysis. With just one word “HOW” the question shifts to action, whether is starting your own thing or being more loving or finding more peace.

When you release and when you release. Is this fact or fiction? Who can relate to this right now? I find that it’s such a delicate dance of doing and surrendering. Know what’s meant for you won’t miss you. There is always a known/unknown reason. Trust you in yourself. Trust in the Universe.

So there I was at the exit of Costco being stopped by the receipt checker attendant because one of my items wasn’t on the receipt. The cashier in his haste forgot to scan my goat cheese I needed for an upcoming birthday party.

Another cashier was called to ring up the forgotten item. As I waited for him, I noticed one of my shoelaces were untied but I am wearing the baby in the carrier so I couldn’t easily reach down to tie them. I opted to leave it untied until I got back to the car. It was one of those days where I just wanted to be in and out of Costco as fast as possible.

The new cashier escorted me to his station and he rang me up. I gave him a $20 dollar bill and in return he gave me $12 and some change back. As a habit, I always check my money for any lucky numbers. As I looked down, I noticed the two ones had “777” in the serial numbers. It’s rare to get one lucky bill but there were two!

As I walked away, the cashier noticed my untied shoelaces. “Miss your shoelaces are untied, let me help you with that” seeing that I was wearing the baby.

What I thought was a complete inconvenience and annoyance turned out to be a deliberate clear sign from the Universe – a reminder of how powerful and connected everything is. It’s easy to forget to be present, to not notice the Universe sending you synchronous signs all the time.

Any feelings of isolation parted as the kind cashier bent over to tie my laces. He didn’t want anything to happen to me and the baby. He had our backs and so did the Universe.

You are reading this for a reason. This is your sign and reminder from the Universe. Whatever feels challenging in your life right now is an opportunity. Perhaps it’s a pivot, redirection or a transformation. Trust the process.Trust that you will overcome this to become stronger and wiser (even at Costco). XX 🌹Ellen
