Welcome, March 🤍

February invited us to reflect on relationships.
March invites us to look at balance.

In many Indigenous frameworks, wellness is not individual. It is relational. It is rhythmic. It is about tending to the whole self — mind, body, spirit, and community.

As we step into a new month, consider:

Where am I feeling stretched thin?

Where am I feeling supported?

What part of me needs attention?

Throughout March, we’ll be sharing reflections, tools, and conversations centered on nervous system awareness, relational healing, and restoring balance.

Before we move into a new month, it can help to pause.

February invited conversations about relationships, repair, boundaries, and letting go. It asked us to consider how we show up in connection and how we care for ourselves in the process.

Reflection is not about judging the month. It is about noticing it.

If you feel comfortable, share one thing February taught you.

When relationships end, it can feel like something inside of us is being pulled apart.

The Medicine Wheel reminds us that healing is about tending to all parts of ourselves: body, emotion, community, and spirit.

Endings are not only loss. They are transitions within a larger cycle.

Which part of yourself needs the most care right now?

At Indigenous Circle of Wellness, our approach to individual therapy is grounded in understanding traditional healing.

Therapy becomes a space to explore your story, your relationships, and the systems that shape your lived experience. It is not about correcting you. It is about honoring your resilience, your history, and your capacity to heal.

If you are a first generation college student, you are likely carrying more than just coursework.

You may be learning systems your family never had access to.

You may be translating paperwork, navigating financial aid, or figuring out processes without guidance.

You may feel proud and overwhelmed at the same time.

Bahar is hosting a First Generation College Student Support Circle on March 4 from 7–8 PM.

This virtual gathering is includes planned activities and prompts designed for students who want space to process pressure, ask questions, and feel less alone in the experience of being first gen.

You do not have to figure everything out by yourself.

Mindfulness is not about fixing yourself or forcing calm.

It is about learning how to be present with what is already here.

Through mindfulness based support, Bahar offers space to slow down, ground, and reconnect with the body and nervous system.

This work can support stress, anxiety, burnout, and moments when everything feels like too much.

Many organizations offer mental health benefits.
Fewer see them truly used.

Low utilization is often framed as disinterest, when it is more often about trust, access, and relevance.

Circle of Wellness EAP is being designed to support employees as whole people and to support
organizations in building cultures of care that are
sustainable, relational, and culturally responsive.

Support for healing does not only happen in therapy spaces.

Monique provides facilitation, speaking engagements, panels, and workshops for leaders and organizations across the U.S.

Her support centers nervous system awareness, cultural context, leadership fatigue, and relational wellbeing.

Staying connected to care should not feel
overwhelming.

Our email list is one way we share updates with
intention so you do not have to keep searching,
checking, or wondering what is coming next.

We send community updates, openings for
therapy and support groups, events, and early
access to registrations when they are available.

This is especially for those navigating burnout,
uncertainty, or change and wanting information
delivered with care.

There are moments shaped by burnout, financial
strain, and collective uncertainty where there is no
quick solution.

In those moments, many people feel pressure to fix,
reassure, or make things better.

Often, what helps most is presence. Being willing to
sit with someone, listen without rushing, and offer
care without answers can be deeply regulating.

At Indigenous Circle of Wellness, we approach
healing as relational, nervous system informed, and
grounded in lived experience.

Support does not require everything to be resolved
first.

Many workplaces offer support in theory.

Fewer offer support that people feel safe using.

When care is hard to access, culturally disconnected, or limited to short term fixes, employees stop reaching out not because they don’t need help, but because it doesn’t feel worth the effort.

We’re building Circle of Wellness EAP with a different
foundation.

One that centers trust, cultural relevance, and relational care.

What has made support feel inaccessible or unsafe in your
workplace?

More coming soon.
