What does it take to change? They say growth comes from doing, not watching. So every few months I try something that scares me. This time it was a hip hop tryout with my partner in crime. My brain grew. My knees? Not so much.

The most meaningful part of me is being a mom. Today I hugged my son as he moved into his college dorm, and my heart swelled with pride and a little ache all at once. Watching him step into this new chapter is the greatest reminder of how quickly time moves, and how deeply I cherish being his mom. 💙
