THE ENTIRE WORLD HAS IT'S HEAD IN THE SAND!!
One out of four Americans are on a psych med!
So- mental health IS an issue that has to be brought to the forefront of society. As you know, I've lived in a 39 year warzone fighting to save my son in a society that is totally unconscious in regards to mental illness and addiction. The criminal justice system puts the sick in cages of abuse, there is no family or friend support- people like me are outcasts- nobody wants to deal with this!
We become aliens living in a cave of pain as no one wants to step into this crap and help!
In the tragic deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, no one can convince me there were no clear signs this was going to happen! Even with the famous, NO ONE wants to jump in the middle and confront, support, lead, and try to prevent this from happening!
For people like me who LIVE in this horror, who are transparent and PUBLICIZE the pain and suffering, abuse, and ignorant indifference, the obvious answer is there HAD to be SIGNS this was going to happen and nobody stepped up, stepped into the ugliness to STAND firmly, make hard decisions, and try to avert tragedy!
Even now, with the daily shootings, mass murders, rabid hate, accepted terrorism in our country, nobody wants to go where the ugliness lives- to try and CURE the problem!
In case you haven't noticed, this is an epidemic!!!
Mental illness, coupled with addiction, coupled with a de-sensitized, disenfranchised, self centered society, equals a disaster in humanity.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand profound simplicity- but we unconscious humans just keep stumbling on, selfishly thinking:
" As long as I am OK and my needs are met, I'll just post the prayer meme and everything will be ok."
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!
Without truthful accountability, responsibility and personal commitment in courage, we are doomed as the human race.
Social media is prevalent with self- promotion, luxury focus, a lust for puesdo fame- IE:
" followers", selfies, red carpet Wanna' Be's, being RICH as a sign of self worth- ALL while our world is being ravaged by rabid hate, death, shootings, murders at schools, and NO ACCOUNTABILITY!
While the obsessive Trump haters waste their time on senseless " No Kings Day", our fellow humans are being SLAUGHTERED IN OUR small towns, big cities,and around the world!
The government can't stop this but WE can begin the renovation of the human spirit in our communities!
We have to CARE about one another!
We need to get INVOLVED personally in each others lives! We need to become CONSCIOUS and act- not just post a prayer meme!!!
Priorities people! If your children are dying, isn't that ENOUGH to wake you up?!!
Apparently not!
I am throughly pi**ed off! If I can fight the system of ignorant indifference daily, so can you!
WTH UP AND SAVE YOURSELF, YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
Stop this insane political craziness and directly do something to change this narrative.
FOR Christians in society: "Faith without works is DEAD"! You can't have one foot in and one foot out! Jump in the middle of the dung heap and apply the working principles of Christ- not just WORDS and prayers- but ACTIONS that produce change!
People of faith have the tools of The Holy Spirit to FIGHT FOR THEM- BUT YOU NEED TO ACT, CARE, GO WHERE THE UGLINESS IS AND BE THE CHANGE IN SOCIETY!
