With over two decades of experience, my commitment to serving queer communities has been unwavering since the mid-1990s. In my role as the founder and clinical director of AMR Therapy, I've translated this extensive experience into a culturally sensitive and affirming therapy model. Our focus is on providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experi
ences without judgment. As the leader of a diverse and inclusive team of therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals, I actively contribute to advocacy work as a speaker and consultant. My engagements challenge societal norms around mental health, queerness, and race, making substantial contributions to social justice and inclusivity in mental health care. Looking forward, I'm passionate about advancing the field of mental health. Currently, I'm working on creating Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for therapists, contributing to professional development in areas such as sexuality, gender, queerness, femaleness, non-monogamy, and religion and sexuality. Additionally, I'm available for consultation and supervision, aiming to share my expertise and support fellow mental health professionals in enhancing their practice.
