I got in touch with my inner Elsa ❄️ last night at the Kings vs Ducks preseason game! Stephen and I were given the royal 👑 treatment including hanging in the tunnel and a Zamboni ride! (I was invited and yolo) Thank you You’re the BEST! Super fun seats, too. An amazing game with scoring during overtime. We can walk to the games from our new place and I now know a player’s name or two :) So we’re Kings fans! 🖤

Hello. I am Chrysta Powell. After the 2016 election I was feeling depleted and felt the need to make some sort of positive change happen in our country. I found Beautycounter through a friend who told me that I would be great at their advocacy work. I was a consultant with Beautycounter until 2024 when the company experienced an unfortunate and untimely end. Fortunately for all of us, the original founder and CEO bought back her clean beauty company and has re-launched as It is clear to me that this is the education-first, transparent, highest performing, clean beauty company that we ALL need right NOW.

I’ve posted here 20 fun clean-beauty inspired photos taken in the last 8 year that included beloved friends and family, including a couple absolute ROCKSTARS in the makeup artist space and If you don’t know their names, you should. Even more importantly, get to know their stories as badass women in “the industry”

6/25/25 COUNTER. launched and I could not be more excited to be back as a Brand Partner. Although many of you know me to be quite active politically, this work to educate and advocate for cleaner products for EVERYONE is non-partisan.

I’m so happy to be back to this work, under the fearless leadership of Gregg Renfrew. And it is so timely as I, once again, find myself driven to make positive change happen in the US. And I do so joyfully.

In September, I was at Emma’s Back to School Night sitting in her AP English class and I saw this portrait on the wall. All of the students wrote a favorite quote and where they saw themselves attending college the next year. Well, Em saw her future and it’s OFFICIAL! 🧡🖤 will be attending in Portland, Oregon in the Fall! L&C checked all of her boxes (and more) and she did not want to wait another day to commit. We are so unbelievably happy for her!! Thank you to everyone who supported Emma along her unique journey. We love you so much!!

Emma Goes to College 🤓 All of her acceptances are IN 🎉🥹 (and they were all acceptances 👏) Where will Emma be for the next 4 years?! I think I know, but stay tuned!!
