When you spend so much time together, you start matching without even planning it 😄💙

Rebecca Bass, RN Care Manager in Crystal Coast, and her client Russ showed up in almost the exact same outfit today and we think they absolutely nailed it.

These are the moments that make care relationships so special. Beyond the support and advocacy, real friendships and connections are built along the way.

Many people don’t realize that some of our Arosa Care Managers are also Registered Nurses, bringing an added layer of clinical expertise, advocacy, and support to families navigating aging, healthcare challenges, hospital transitions, dementia care, and life at home.

This National Nurses Week, we’re proud to spotlight three incredible RN Care Managers whose compassion and expertise make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and families every day:

• Sheila Goode, RN – Middle Tennessee
• Rebecca Bass, RN – Crystal Coast
• Ashley Matthews, RN – Kansas City

Their stories are a reminder that nursing is about so much more than medical care. It’s about advocacy, critical thinking, emotional support, and showing up for families during some of life’s most overwhelming moments.

She held your hand when you were small. Now it's our honor to hold hers. 🤍

At Arosa, every day is about showing up for the people who gave everything — with the same love and care they always gave to others.

Happy Mother's Day to every mom, grandmother, and mother figure. You are so deeply loved.

There’s something special about the relationship between a Care Manager and their client. It goes far beyond schedules, appointments, or care plans. Over time, it becomes trust, comfort, advocacy, and genuine connection.

Our Care Managers are often there for some of life’s most overwhelming and emotional moments. They become a steady presence for older adults and families navigating change, uncertainty, health challenges, and difficult decisions. Sometimes what a client needs most is simply someone who listens, understands, and makes them feel seen.

This beautiful moment between Care Manager Samantha Galbreath and her client is a reminder that care is deeply human. The bond built through compassion, consistency, and trust can mean everything to someone who may be feeling alone or overwhelmed.

At Arosa, we believe emotional support is just as important as practical support and our Care Managers show that

Last week in Boston, we had the pleasure of hosting Liz O'Donnell, founder of Working Daughter , at The Charles River Country Club alongside our partners at The Newbury of Brookline.

Liz shared great insights on what it really means to be a “working daughter” balancing career, life, and the responsibility of caring for aging parents. Her talk touched on the emotional weight, the unexpected moments, and the reality so many families quietly navigate every day.

We’re incredibly grateful to our own Christina Blais, BA, CDP for bringing this event to life, and to everyone who joined us for such a meaningful conversation.

At Arosa these are the conversations that matter. 💙

Such a special day with our South Bay team 💙

We celebrated our Q1 Employees of the Month and spent time connecting with the incredible caregivers who make what we do possible every single day. Hearing their stories and heartfelt testimonials in person made it all even more meaningful.

A huge congratulations to Jennifer Flores and Alex Isip — two caregivers who consistently show compassion, dedication, and truly go above and beyond. Jennifer shared how much the recognition meant to her, and it was one of those moments you don’t forget.

Shoutout to Care Manager Ashley King and Care Specialist Diana Villapudua for making this celebration so special. And Diana didn’t miss a beat… even took a moment to introduce Arosa to Chargers player Marlowe Wax 👏 safe to say our caregivers loved that surprise.

Care management doesn’t always look the same. Some days it’s coordinating care, navigating transitions, or supporting families through big decisions. Other days, it looks like this. Creating something familiar, calming, and meaningful for a client during a major life transition.

This affirmation board was made for a client moving from home into a new setting. She was a former art therapist, so bringing creativity and grounding elements into her space felt especially important.

It’s a reminder that care isn’t just about logistics — it’s about understanding the person, what matters to them, and helping them feel safe and supported wherever they are.

At Arosa, we’re there for every part of the journey — both the big moments and the small ones that make all the difference.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Maddie Joklik from our Salt Lake City team as our Arosa Care Extraordinaire.

For over 20 years, one family has been navigating an incredibly rare and complex condition that requires hours of daily care. The kind of care most people will never encounter.

When they came to Arosa, they weren’t sure anyone would be willing, or able, to step into something so demanding.

As they shared:

“I wasn’t hopeful that they would find a caregiver willing to learn the very unique and grueling process that he goes through daily. We have tried and failed more often than I can remember.

And then came Maddie.

She brought both experience and incredible compassion, showing up every morning with positivity and a willingness to learn.

Allowing someone into your home makes you vulnerable… but it’s not hard with Maddie. I literally trust her with my son’s life, and she has made the lives of every member of my family better.”

This is what extraordinary care looks like.

Maddie, this is so well deserved. Thank you for the heart and care you bring every single day 💙

Meet Derrick Manoly, Care Specialist for Arosa Chicagoland. 💙

His path to senior care started as a child visiting his mother at the nursing home where she worked — listening to residents' stories and never forgetting them.

"Most families are really looking for peace of mind. They want to know their loved one is going to be safe, supported, and cared for by someone they can trust."
