The Rational Past Selling and renting scientific and technical antiques in the fields not limited to medical, nautical, surveying, drafting, and crafting.

Established in 1994, The Rational Past mostly vends antiques at shows and conventions in Southern California. We also rent to the film industry. We do not deal in reproductions and are very knowledgeable about the pieces we sell. At this time we are not interested in purchasing more inventory and we charge a small fee for valuating pieces.
