The EA path includes teachings, practice, facilitation by experienced leaders, and a supportive community for group work. Embodied Awakening (EA) is a path to living from your essence in a way that is grounded, authentic, joyful and full of heart. Awakening means to waking-up to the truth of who we are. We emphasize that awakening needs to be embodied. EA is real awakening, in the here-and-now. It
isn’t an abstract spiritual philosophy. You can feel it in your body. EA rests on Eastern viewpoint that your true nature is fundamentally compassionate and loving. Regardless whatever emotional reactions, defenses or drama may appear to be going on at the surface, the truth is that you care deeply about yourself and the world around you. Our work is to bring awareness to and to activate this quality of awakened heart (bodhichitta). We use both traditional and inspired forms of personal practice. This helps to ground our awakening into real life and provides a solid foundation for the deeper work that occurs in workshops, ongoing groups, individual sessions or intensives. EA uses techniques from the Western fields of body-psychotherapy, energy therapies, group dynamics and coaching to bring a personal and embodied focus to the work of awakening. These techniques support you in integrating the profound insights of the viewpoint at a cellular level.
