I am honestly not a great cook and I donāt like spending hours in the kitchen yet people love the meals I make...
The secret is that I stopped trying to be a chef and started working with my cravings, my health goals and my lifestyle.
And I make simple tweaks based on where I am in my cycle to support better energy, an easier period, and a little more variety throughout the month.

Here is what actually works for me:
1ļøā£ I reverse engineer meals I already love. Most of my favorite dishes are just inspired by what I order at places like Luna Grill, Sweetgreen, and Baja Fresh.
Simple ingredients thrown together into something flavorful without complicated techniques or recipes (my vibes).
2ļøā£ I let sauces and seasoning do the heavy lifting. I genuinely do not understand how people cook without them. I read labels like a spy at the grocery store and stick to brands I trust for both ingredients and flavor, like Siete Foods, Chosen Foods, and Primal Kitchen.
I also make a few simple ones myself like the fry sauce in recipe one, which I make about four times a week because it goes on everything and sneaks in more protein too!
3ļøā£ I have a 30 minute rule and if it takes longer than that I am out. My air fryer is my best friend because it cuts cook time nearly in half, and I always keep organic frozen veggies on hand because they cook fast and never go bad.
4ļøā£ I create a vibe that tricks my brain into thinking I enjoy this. French Cafe playlist, Sinatra, candles lit, and while things are heating I chase my dogs around which they love š„¹
