It was almost my 10th birthday when we moved from London, England to a tiny town in Idaho.

My sis and I had thick British accents and dressed ourselves (the outfits weren’t “trending”).

On my first day of school, two boys interrogated me on the playground: “Do you even know what the Super Bowl is?”

“Ummm… a bowling tournament?” I responded.. they erupted in laughter. I was mortified.

My mom remembers Rye and I coming home from school and crying on the edge of our beds because we didn’t have friends and couldn’t be our true selves.

I went from being outgoing and goofy to deathly shy and insecure overnight…

I was afraid to speak up in class for fear of being mocked (because it happened).

I kept quiet in social settings because I didn’t want to be seen as a “loser” or “different.”

As humans, we’re wired to want acceptance because in our ancestors days, getting abandoned by the tribe meant certain death.

Nowadays it’s up to us to TRAIN our primal brain to trust that daring to be different is actually safe.

When I turned 16, I decided I didn’t want to be the “shy girl” anymore so…

👉 I got a job at Coldstone Creamery where I had to sing for tips - a literal nightmare but it helped break my shell!

👉 I worked up the courage to flirt with boys (soon it became easy 😉)

👉 I raised my hand in class and share my opinions

👉 I acting and dance classes

That 10 year old Jess is still a part of me and sometimes she still needs a reminder that it’s safe to be seen. So I put challenge myself on a daily basis to do scary things…

Fear used to paralyze me. Now it’s my compass.

And you?

You’re meant for a BEAUTIFUL life.
The kind you’d re-live.
Where you look back and say, “damn, I really did that.”

So ask yourself:
→ Where am I shrinking to stay safe or avoid judgement?
→ What’s one tiny, brave action I can take today to raise my standards?

If you want to bring your visions to life, being your own cheerleader isn’t a “suggestion,” it’s a non-negotiable. 📣

Why? Because momentum requires belief in ourselves to make it happen and refusing to give up the moment we hit a bump or receive push back.

If you don’t believe in yourself, it will be very hard for others to believe in you.

Your brain thrives on repetition so the more you repeat the same narrative “I always mess up,” “who am I to think I can make this happen?” “you’re going to fail” “blah blah blah, your brain goes to work LOOKING for proof those stories are true.

This is called confirmation bias and your brain is a master at it. 🧠

So what do we do instead?

1- Be your own hype woman. Leave yourself love notes, stick affirmations on your mirror, give yourself a pep talk.

👉This drops dopamine and tells the brain “that felt great,” do it again!

2- Go out in seek of ALL the evidence that you CAN make your visions a reality (ex: past wins, challenges you’ve overcome, people you admire who have done what you want to do).

👉Write it down and continue to build your case like a lawyer!

3- Surround yourself with expanders - people who you look up to because they are a living, breathing example of what’s possible.

👉Ask them how they did it, what mindset shifts they made and what keeps them going when challenges arise!

4- Find ways to shift your energy when self doubt creeps in (empowering music, meditation, breathwork, motivational book or podcast, getting in nature, a fun workout class, somatic shaking etc)

👉 this energy shift changes your thoughts, actions and reality

5- Choose to look for opportunities and solutions over and roadblocks and problems.

here 👋 Swipe right for my pre-period essentials (and do NOT sleep on slide 5) 👉

My period arrived yesterday.

❌ No pre-period bloating.
❌ No sore b***s.
❌ No mood swings.
❌ No intense cramping or heavy bleeding.

I used to think that feeling like s**t before your period was normal (what a lie).

For years I was so wrapped up in being “skinny” that I focused solely on calories and not nutrient quality.

And now that I’ve learned better (thanks to and ), I’ll never prioritize my weight above my health and hormones again.

Let’s be honest, the 100 calorie snack packs and daily Quest Bars were DEFINITELY not helping my pre-period fatigue and bloating. 😆

Once I finally added back fear foods (for me: carbs & fat) and learned to nourish my body from the inside out, I regained a healthy cycle without all the dreaded PMS symptoms.

Living in alignment with your cycle isn’t about perfection (at least not in my world) but about co-creating with your body and making adjustments that support the way you want to feel!

Commit to these 5 things every day in June and be blown away by the woman you become by July..

1) Every morning choose one “rise & regulate” ritual before touching your phone. ☀️ Examples:

-meditation or visualization
-inspirational reading (I’m reading ’s “your vision board life book”)
-journaling (brain dump, gratitude)
- eft tapping (I love )

2) Walk every day for at least 30 minutes. Use this time to listen to podcasts or simply be in silence. If you’re already doing this, add an additional 15 minutes.

3) Connect with your inner guidance at least once a day. Put one hand on the belly and one hand on the heart, take a breath in and on the exhale ask:

- “what is one way I can make my future self proud?” And then do that thing!

4) Create a “f*ck the fear list” and do ONE thing that scares you every day 🚀 Example:

-go on a solo date
- post an IG reel
- book a flight
- text your crush
- lift a heavier weight
- try a new class
- ask for a raise
- wear the bold and sexy outfit

5) Stop waiting for the right time!! Ready isn’t a feeling, it’s a CHOICE and it’s embodied in action.

Ask yourself “what would the 2.0 version of me choose?” 💭

The woman you’re becoming?
She doesn’t wait for permission.
She leads herself with love, with fire, with full-body chills.
Let this be the month she emerges. 🦋

The notorious carrot night... one I don’t think I’ll ever forget. 😩 🥕

Right after college I worked as a consultant for a national weight loss company that ingrained these narratives in my mind:

1) I wasn’t thin enough (I had to do their diet to work there).
2) Foods like carrots, onions and broccoli stalks (I’m not kidding) were too high in sugar.
3) “Bites licks and tastes” might as well be a sin.
4) Scale weight was tied to self worth.

Most people lost weight on the program but almost all gained it back (myself included).

My parents did the diet alongside me and I became the unsolicited food police, making rude comments when they’d veer “off plan”…. and it stemmed from the hurt and frustration I felt inside.

I felt SO out of sync with my body and mind.

I didn’t trust myself to know how to make choices that worked for me so I followed what I was *told* to do like a “good girl”...

I lit up whenever people would compliment my weight loss but I felt so disconnected inside.

The night of my sister’s birthday ended in tears but it was the moment I stopped pretending I had it all under control and finally allowed myself to receive help.

And when I finally learned to trust myself and reconnected with my cyclical body, my whole world changed.

If we want true freedom in our bodies — whether that’s weight release, symptom reversal, or feeling strong and sexy in our skin — we have to stop outsourcing our power to every diet, expert, or trend.

Because you weren’t made to follow someone else’s blueprint. You were made to honor your own. 🫶🏼

This was my H.S. graduation photo.
 
For years, I kept it stuffed in the back of my sock drawer — praying no one would find it. 🙈
 
I was ashamed of all the weight I had gained (in a short amount of time) and the woman I didn’t recognize. 
 
If you’ve ever felt like you’ve tried everything to feel at home in your body — only to end up overwhelmed and exhausted,
