The Bodyful Mind® Process

For more than 30 years, Doreen Rivera has been developing and refining The Bodyful Mind…A Process of Evolution®. The Bodyful Mind® is a pioneering technique of movement and breath - a journey within to create a deeper relationship to the constant communications that your emotional body provides in the form of sensations, feelings and thoughts. All of these are active thr

ough the continuous movements that occur in the physical/emotional body in daily life. During The Bodyful Mind® movement class, the intent is to provide opportunity to discover and create the groundwork for the development of the body’s emotional intelligence. Through the course of each exercise, your awareness is turned inward. In the class, using a journal, you’re encouraged to write every feeling, thought and everything you hear in your head as you challenge yourself in each movement. The feelings and thoughts that you have been trained to dismiss/ignore are where your greatest discoveries occur. The Bodyful Mind® assists each student to consciously move into the body to feel, understand and uncover what the body knows. The focus in class is what you FEEL, THINK, and HEAR within as you do each exercise. Learning to perceive yourself on multiple levels fosters the development of the body’s emotional intelligence. This evolutionary technique will expand the realm of possibilities for living your best conscious life.
