Open Letter to the Leaders of the Abraham Accords Nations and the Global Community
Dear Esteemed Leaders of the Abraham Accords Nations and Citizens of the World, Greetings, I am Dr. Whimsy Anderson, ND, a scientist, naturopathic doctor, and advocate for peace. I have a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Washington. I publish my scientific research as WA Anderson, focusing on the intersection of health, culture, and systemic biases — work that informs my peace initiative for Gaza, “Oasis 1.” I’m also known publicly as a Political satirist/tarot card reader on YouTube, which some may find unconventional, but my multidisciplinary background enhances my contributions to peacebuilding. As a Jew, I was taught that life is sacred, a principle that guides my work and my vision for Gaza. Today, I want to make a public statement about “Oasis 1,” my deep concern regarding the potential misuse of my data in the Trump Gaza plan, and my call for a collective effort to build a future that honors the sacredness of all life, as exemplified by Abraham’s tents of peace and goodwill.). In November 2023, I submitted my “Oasis 1” proposal to Israeli officials, including the IDF, Jonathan Conricus, and members of the Knesset, proposing secure zones where Gazans and Israelis could interact non-violently, fostering cultural integration, economic development, and peace through kindness. Over the past 15 months, my vision has become a comprehensive plan, detailed in several Medium articles. “Oasis 1” includes a $5 billion Marshall Plan for Gaza, creating 8,000 jobs through secure oases, a $1.9 billion “MAX” Caravan Line tunnel to connect Gaza and Israel, natural healing centers and Spa using regional herbs, and a Bedouin-inspired tourism hub to promote cultural exchange — all aimed at reducing violence by 20% and creating a “jealousy-free, violence-free” environment. My initiative leverages the Abraham Accords framework, involving nations like the UAE, Bahrain, and potentially Saudi Arabia, to ensure Gaza’s 2 million residents are part of a peaceful, prosperous future, not displaced. My scientific research as WA Anderson informs this work. In 2017, I published “The Weston A Price Foundation and the American Eugenics Movement: A Historical Analysis of Nutritional Science Advocacy and Racial Hygiene in the Twentieth Century” in the Journal of Forensic Anthropology[https://medcrave.com/index.php?/articles/det/2263/privacy-policy.php…}. This article examines how health science was misused to justify exclusionary ideologies, a lesson I apply to Gaza by addressing systemic despair through integration and opportunity. My anthropology training ensures “Oasis 1” is culturally sensitive, fostering mutual understanding between Gazans and Israelis — a data-driven approach that withstands scrutiny. I have noticed striking similarities between my “Oasis 1” initiative and subsequent plans, such as Israel’s 2024 Gaza plan and the 2025 “Riviera of the Middle East” proposal announced by former President Trump — particularly in the emphasis on security, economic development, and regional cooperation. While I’m honored that my ideas may have contributed to these discussions, I am deeply troubled by the Trump plan’s inclusion of the permanent displacement of Palestinians. I did not write “Oasis 1” to help create a Trump plan that displaces people. I wanted to empower the people of Gaza, giving them our shared history and heritage of peace. As a Jew, I believe the lives of the people of Gaza are sacred, contrary to what Hamas may think. We must build something that is a testimony to what human beings can be — great stewards of the earth, engaged in friendly, peaceful commerce and goodwill — committed to making the world a better place under one G-d, as Abraham, the first Jew and thought to be the shared ancestor of both Jews and Arabs, exemplified through his tents of peace and goodwill. The ongoing conflict in Gaza reflects choices we’ve made collectively — choices that have isolated Gaza, fueled resentment, and perpetuated a cycle of violence. The 2005 Gaza withdrawal left the region without the structure or security needed to build an oasis, creating a vacuum that deepened despair. We have failed to create an inclusive society, instead fostering a sense that something was taken from those who later turned to terrorism. We have collectively done everything in our power to see the wars, deaths, and bloodshed continue, and we must ask ourselves: Why? Who benefits? These outcomes are not driven by data or science, but by systemic failures we can address together. “Oasis 1” offers a path forward, grounded in anthropological research, scientific analysis, and Jewish values of the sacredness of life. I respectfully request that the Abraham Accords nations review my current work, as detailed in my Medium articles, and consider acknowledging my role in shaping ideas that may have influenced your peacebuilding efforts. I am particularly dismayed that my data, intended to empower Gazans, may have been misused in a plan that contradicts my vision. seek clarity on how my contributions have been applied. To the global community, I call for a collective reckoning. We must recognize our shared responsibility for the Gaza conflict and work together to create a future rooted in peace, not division — a future where Jews and Arabs, as descendants of Abraham, can share in the goodwill of his tents. I am eager to collaborate with the Abraham Accords nations, drawing on my expertise in anthropology, naturopathy, and cultural advocacy to complement your efforts. My platform as a public advocate allows me to amplify your message globally, fostering cross-cultural understanding through diverse perspectives. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am available for discussions and would be honored to contribute to the Abraham Accords’ mission through partnership.
