We believe that trauma therapy works when the person is ready—we will not try to convince you, pressure you, or minimize your concerns in order for you to come to our program. When you decide to call, we will present you with information on our team of clinicians, our therapeutic approach, the logistics of the program and try to answer any other questions you may have.

Psychedelics or not?
"Chemical interventions, whether from ancient plants or modern drugs, may temporarily break through the mind’s chaos, but this fleeting relief often leads to further disillusionment. As Sadhguru says, “You rise without earning it, by breaking the mind with chemicals... then you will be far more miserable than ever before".

I have been saying for years similar things against psychedelics but it was so good to get this email from Sadhguru this morning. I know many people will disagree with me , but my more than 20 years of energy medicine training is very much in agreement with Sadhguru and Joe Dispenza who strongly believe we can train our minds through disciplined practice.

Job Requirements:

Availability:

PART-TIME, In Person in Pacific Palisades, CA

1 positions available: 1 guaranteed 20 hours/wk.

Monday-2-6 pm; tuesday 11-5 pm; wednesday 2-6 pm, thursday 2-6 pm and Friday 9 am -1 pm

Required to provide group and individual therapy weekly

Required Weekly Supervision Meeting (Zoom) every Tuesday 1-3pm

One-YearCommitment Required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

MA, MSW, PsyD, or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.

Must be registered with the BBS or Board of Psychology. No trainees.

Required two (2) years of professional experience in direct patient care in the mental health field, preferred experience with complex trauma.

A plus if trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Gestalt, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, or Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
