"Yoga is not just fitness—it’s a sacred preparation for connection with who we truly are."

— Acharya Vasudevananda, World Yoga Federation Regional Director, Latin America

At the Bharat Indo-American World Yoga Conference 2024, Acharya Vasudevananda reminds us that asana is only the beginning. The true practice of yoga goes far beyond the physical. It’s a path toward inner transformation—a journey to reconnect with the loving, divine essence within us all.

In a world filled with distraction, division, and disconnection, yoga offers unity. Unity between body and spirit. Unity between traditions. Unity among people.

As Grandmaster and Director of HARI OM International, Acharya Vasudevananda shares his mission to expand the deeper understanding of yoga philosophy across Latin America—and the world.

May his words be a call to return to the heart of yoga and share its wisdom as a way of life.

"Yoga is inside. That’s what’s important." — Nicole Hayman-Sherman

At the Bharat Indo-American World Yoga Conference 2024, yoga leader Nicole Hayman-Sherman reminded us that our spiritual path begins within. In a world that constantly pulls us outward, Nicole’s words gently guide us back to our essence — to ahimsa, to unity, and to the divine connection we all share.

Raised with Native American influences and decades of yogic wisdom, Nicole bridges cultures and traditions with a message that is both ancient and urgently modern:

“If we taught every child to meditate, we would change the world in a generation.”

Her voice is a call to practice peace, embody love, and uplift one another — from the youngest yogis to the eldest teachers.

Let this moment inspire you to pause, reflect, and remember:
We are all on this earth walk together.

Most people read the Bhagavad Gita like philosophy…
but its truth begins in a crisis.
Arjuna wasn’t calm.
He wasn’t enlightened.
He was overwhelmed, confused, and questioning everything—standing in front of people he loved, asked to make an impossible choice.
And in that moment… Krishna speaks.
Not as an idea.
Not as theory.
But as a living guidance.
This is the essence of the Gita:
not something to study from a distance,
but something to experience within you.
As shared by Utkarsh Sanjanwala at Light on Lotus, the real connection isn’t in memorizing verses—it’s in accessing the source consciousness behind them.
Because the wisdom of yoga, of Indian philosophy, of the divine…
was never meant to stay in books.
It was meant to guide you in the moments you feel most lost.
If you’ve been approaching spirituality only through the mind,
this is your reminder to go deeper.
The conversation is still happening.
The question is… are you listening?

Inhale… lift.
Exhale… arch back.
And then — pause.
In this moment from our Kundalini Yoga session, Yogiraj Utkarsh invites you into a simple yet powerful practice:
observe the pressure within your body.
Not to fix it.
Not to escape it.
Just… feel it with full awareness.
As you fold forward and release, the body begins to speak.
Stored tension softens.
Breath deepens.
Awareness expands.
This is the essence of authentic practice —
where even “sweet discomfort” becomes a doorway to clarity.
🧘🏽‍♂️ Try this for a few breaths…
Where do you feel it most right now? 👇🏽

Sometimes we feel connected. Sometimes we don’t. But the presence never leaves.
This is the journey of spiritual growth — not adding more, but becoming available to what already exists within your energy centers, your voice, your being.

“God did not create the universe… God became the universe.”

At the Bharat Indo-American World Yoga Conference 2024, we had the profound privilege of hearing from yoga luminary Aadil Palkhivala, as he explored the deep spiritual insights of Sri Aurobindo’s teachings — including the radical idea that Divinity is not something to escape to, but something we embody and live through.

This isn’t about leaving the body or world behind.
It’s about revealing the Divine through the body, through matter, through life itself.

Through yoga — not as an escape, but as a sacred integration — we come to recognize that there is no separation between Creator and creation. That we are part of the Divine. That Divinity lives in us. As us.

This is the power of the teachings we share through this global conference series — offering new ways to see, feel, and live your yoga.

Meditation doesn’t mean having no thoughts.
It means changing your relationship with them.

If you have a mind, you will have thoughts. That’s its nature.
The goal is not to stop them — but to rise above them.

With a consistent practice, you begin to observe your thoughts from a higher perspective.
Like an aerial view — seeing where they come from, and where they go, without getting pulled in.

So if your mind is active, that’s not a problem.
It’s actually the starting point.

Without a mind, there is no meditation.
With awareness, there is freedom.

Yoga beyond the postures. Follow for more.

Master your mind… not by controlling it, but by learning to observe it. 🙏🏽In this powerful moment from our BABAGE Kundalini Yoga Workshop, Yogiraj Utkarsh guides us into a simple yet profound practice:

This is where true inner stillness is remembered.Rooted in a traditional lineage, this practice activates the chakras and energy centers, helping release stored tension and awaken a deeper state of consciousness — one breath, one sound, one moment at a time. This is not just a yoga workshop…
it’s a return to awareness, presence, and authentic spiritual practice.

[11:45 AM, 4/14/2026] 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀: What if your voice… was your medicine?
In our final episode of Season 5, I had the honour of speaking with Karen Novy, a vocal empowerment coach who is helping people reconnect to their truth, their expression, and their healing through sound.
Your voice is more than words.
It’s your story.
Your resonance.
Your power.
So many of us have learned to quiet our voice…
But when we begin to explore it—something shifts.
✨ The body softens
✨ The breath deepens
✨ The heart opens
And suddenly… we remember who we are.
☕ This episode is paired with Sweet Memories—a beautiful strawberry and black tea blend inspired by family, legacy, and love. A reminder that our voices are shaped by the stories and connections we carry within us.

In this inspiring talk, Fleuretta explores how yoga—when integrated with established medical practices—can support heart health, reduce stress, and potentially lower the need for certain medications.

She highlights specific asanas like Uttanasana, Downward Dog, Bridge, and Shavasana as powerful tools for improving circulation, calming the nervous system, and lowering blood pressure.

Backed by research and examples from institutions like Johns Hopkins, Fleuretta reminds us that yoga teachers can be key partners in creating healthier communities.

“We’re not replacing doctors—we’re supporting their work with mindful movement, breath, and relaxation.”

Most people think love is about how others treat them.
Yoga teaches something deeper.

In this clip from Voice Activation Through Chakra Purification, Yogiraj Utkarsh explores the difference between Apara Love (conditional, reactive love) and Para Love (higher, transformed love).

When someone is rude, distant, or difficult…
Do you withdraw your love?
Or can you respond with truth, compassion, and steadiness?

That is the shift from the untransformed self to the higher self.

Through chakra purification, voice activation, chanting, and meditation, we begin to move from reaction… into conscious expression.

True voice activation begins when your heart and throat align.

👇 Tell us in the comments:
Have you experienced the difference between conditional love and higher love?
