I’m honored to share a passion project that has been years in the making: P’erl — The Melasma Research & Treatment Institute.

This new initiative brings together a renowned group of scientists to drive change, explore new therapies, and advance the future of melasma treatment. Alongside the science, we are also creating a global support platform — a space where patients around the world can connect, share their journeys, and find community.

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together. 💙

I’m back from Tampa at the AAD Innovation Academy where I gave a few lectures: “Pathogenesis of Melasma – Where are we Now”, “Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia” and “Pigmentary Disorders in Skin of Color.”

They sure did keep me busy but I’m always happy to teach on the advancements in dermatology.
