Hello Friends 🌳🌴☀️⭐️ New development coming into city council district as a community park oasis. “The completed Western Gage Park will be an oasis in a densely developed and under-resourced neighborhood. Possible amenities include an adult fitness area, open space, and a transit plaza. By adding features that accommodate a wide spectrum of ages and uses, the park will integrate into residents' daily lives, merging physical activity and green, open space with the public arena.”

Hello Friends, I invite you all to participate in this exciting project event happening this Saturday, February 4th @ 10am and will run for the entire month of February in honor of Black History Month.

Ultimate Restoration Unlimited (URU) will be conducting tree wrapping in our boundaries to highlight honorable Black/African American leaders during Black History Month. The tree wrapping is a colorful and fun way to educate and promote our communities’ history and celebrate diversity.

Please DM if you would like to sign up to volunteer on Saturday February 4th to help wrap some trees.
We will also need volunteers for clean up on February 26, 2023.

HEALTH ALERT: ‘Broken Heart’ Syndrome.

Did you know Takotsubo Syndrome aka broken Heart syndrome occurs when the heart muscle is weakened usually following severe emotional or physical stress.
Sxs: feels like a heart attack (temporarily).
Disorder rapidly being diagnosed in middle aged and older women.

Cedars— Sinai in partnership with Women’s Heart Health Program, Women’s Heart Research Initiative and the Preventative and Rehabilitative Cardiac Center are investigating risk factors and identifying interventions I.e. medications and lifestyles modifications including protein patterns in the blood stream.
