As 2025 closed, I feel grateful to be your doctor, colleague, and friend. Doing what I love and staying true to my purpose brings me joy and fulfillment. Though the year was challenging, it made us stronger, wiser, and more appreciative of life’s beautiful moments.

It’s that time to give thanks for the year, 2025. As crazy ride it has been for the world and in our own lives, I always tell my clients that there are only 2 choices you can make when life gives you WTF 🍋 or 🦄 : go up ⬆️ or go down ⬇️. May we all make the better choices, keep growing, and appreciate the calling we’re here for. Happy Thanksgiving. Toast to 2025 🥂

最近洛杉磯頂級超市 Erewhon 推出了「薄荷牙膏 Smoothie」，當然要來朝聖一下。雖然與 Boka「牙膏」合作，裡面其實沒有牙膏。它只有大自然的贈與：薄荷與健康蔬果。

在《自然醫學》的草藥學中，薄荷不只清新口氣，通暢呼吸道、更能幫助消化、減緩脹氣。

在《中醫藥》裡，薄荷能疏散風熱，多用於感冒初期。由於含有易揮發的精油，中藥煮法通常是「後下」：最後 5 分鐘才加入。

傳統草本療癒以現代新奇方式出現，很吸晴💚

The trendy wellness market Erewhon in Los Angeles just launched their Boka Toothpaste Mint Smoothie, and of course I had to try it! Despite the playful collaboration, there’s no toothpaste inside. Just nature’s gifts: mint and a mix of nourishing fruits and vegetables.

In Naturopathic Medicine, mint doesn’t just freshen breath, it decongest the respiratory system, supports digestion, and helps reduce bloating.

In Chinese Medicine, mint helps to release wind-heat and is often used at the beginning onset of a cold. Because its essential oils are volatile, it’s usually “added last” to a decoction in the last 5 minutes.

It’s always fascinating to see traditional healing herbs appear in a modern trendy way. 💚
