I was wrong.
Back when it first started working in the fitness industry, I truly believed that diet and exercise were the KEYS to weight loss.
✔️ I gave my clients good workouts.
✔️ Helped them adjust their calories and macros.
And I honestly thought that was all they needed.
But then...
Diet + exercise stopped worked for me 🙋🏼♀️
💪 I was working out a TON! (Hours a day)
🍳 And eating ridiculously healthy.
But I started gaining weight and feeling weaker.
AND I was dealing with insomnia, fatigue, bloating, a weak immune system and anxiety.

Diet and exercise were not working anymore, and I had no idea why.
Now I know why:
My body was living in conservation mode.
The stress from my life and lifestyle took over my body.
And when that happens... your body is just trying to survive.
Weight loss is not survival.
So your body won't do it (and sometimes it will do the opposite).
🧡 All this to say, if you are working out and eating healthy but still stuck... the answer isn't to push harder.
It's to figure out if your body is primed for weight loss right now.
And if it's not... then step one to your weight loss journey should be getting your body primed for that.
