Had a great opportunity to meet up with the amazing Bret Mackenzie of at . My brother and I spent many days of our hazy youth laughing and bobbing our heads to Bret’s amazing tunes, and we were fortunate to be able to share a few words with him and wish him and the band well on their tour. Thanks for show and the conversation, Bret! We won’t soon forget it!

A 24 hour whirlwind watching our Golden Bears play a game of football in SD (ugh), crushing up the coast with my best friend, reconnecting with our Pilam brothers, and celebrating Derek’s 2nd bday with our beautiful friends and family. Congratulations and Elvira! Rico was one of our younger fraternity brothers, and about 8 years ago he joined me on my little filmmaking journey and starred in and co-produced our short films along with and and . We were so happy to reunite again this weekend and celebrate his wedding to lovely Elvira. And such a great chance to hang out with .323 , and the rest of the crew. Love you guys! We wish you nothing but the best!

Thank you to the CureGM1 Foundation for an inspiring, emotional, and beautiful conference. 2 years since the last in-person conference and almost that amount of time since losing Violet, I returned yesterday to help moderate and talk about our advocacy efforts. Seeing the beautiful faces of our beloved rare disease community reminded me of the amazing bonds we’ve made over the years, and the Purpose that keeps driving us forwards. Thank you to for organizing and leading us through all this, and thank you to my fellow board members at the CureGm1 Foundation for your continued love, support, and dedication. A beautiful summer with so many beautiful visitors…
July came with it an influx of amazing events, from the amazing nuptials of Amin and Mileva, 2 Vegas medical conferences (tough having 2 docs in the household!), an epic Disneyland trip with and , and a number of great meetings with friends and family passing through LA for the summer. Days like these are a blessing, and we loved spending this time with all of you, under the sun. Thanks for coming to play:)
