I used to think healing meant constantly digging.
Always “working on myself.”
Always looking for the next thing to fix.
And honestly? That kept me stuck for a long time.
Because the biggest shifts in my life didn’t happen when I was exhausted, activated, or pushing through discomfort.
They happened when I felt safe.
When my body wasn’t bracing.
When I stopped making pain the entry point for growth.
That doesn’t mean avoiding hard things.
It means realizing your nervous system doesn’t change under pressure — it changes through experience.
Joy. Ease. Connection. Stability.
Those aren’t rewards you earn after healing.
They’re often the reason healing happens at all.
You don’t need to suffer to evolve.
And if you’ve been forcing yourself through pain in the name of growth… you’re allowed to try a different way.
