The biceps (Short and Long Head) perform=
-Shoulder flexion
-Elbow flexion
-Wrist supination
First thing is to keep the shoulders pinched down and slightly retracted.
Keep the core braced to prevent lumbar extension. The bicep is in the most contracted state when involving shoulder flexion.
This variation I learned from 🤘🏻

✅ In order to brace the core and maintain neutral spine you will need to have your feet pointed into the ground to keep your lower body secure. Once you grab the bar maintain a slightly wider then shoulder width apart grip. .
❌Don’t let your shoulder blades elevate and depress throughout the range of motion, so maintain scapular depression for stability. You do not need to fully extend at the top of the motion. Be sure to slow down on the lengthening phase, while you explode on the shortening phase with a 1-2 second hold at the bottom. .
