“What does my heart need right now?” ❤️

Years ago, the answer was direction. I was craving meaning, a deeper “why” behind everything I did. I wanted to help people feel better with meditation because that was how I finally found my peace, and that discovery pointed me towards my purpose of creating Unplug. Since then, I made it my mission to empower people to not only deepen their own practice but to share meditation with the world in a meaningful way.

This week we launched a new class of the Unplug Meditation Teacher Training program, and already I feel the energy! People from around the world answering their inner calling to become teachers, guides, and leaders of peace. “What does my body want to tell me today?” 💭

As someone who has spent years creating a space for others to slow down, I still catch myself forgetting to do the same. Life moves fast. It’s easy to treat rest as optional, to think we can power through just a little longer, but that’s when the body begins to tighten, the breath shortens, and stress creeps in.

The body is always communicating; the question is, are we listening? If you are, you might find that it is asking for stillness, for ease, for quiet moments between the effort. Rest isn’t passive; it’s essential maintenance. Just like you charge your phone, your nervous system needs to recharge too. When we ignore the signals like tight shoulders, headaches, and irritability, stress builds up. When we honor rest, peace returns.

“What is one thing I can do today that my future self will thank me for?” 💌

That answer has always been consistency. When I first started meditating, I was far from perfect. Some days it flowed, some days it felt impossible. But over time, I realized that showing up every single day, even for just a few minutes, builds a foundation that lasts a lifetime.

The more we practice, the more we embody calm, clarity, and compassion in everything we do. That’s exactly why I created the Unplug Meditation Teacher Training Program, to help others build a consistent practice and inspire the world to pause, breathe, and reconnect to what's important to them.

“What do I love to do?” 💙

For me, the answer is simple since I love to meditate. Every single morning, before emails, before the noise, before the rush, I take time to sit and breathe. When I started Unplug, it was because I knew firsthand how easy it is to get swept away by stress and distraction. But when you make meditation your daily ritual, life starts to feel lighter, calmer, and more intentional.

Consistency is everything. You don’t need hours, just five to ten minutes of sitting quietly can change the way you show up in life.

"Where is my happy place?" 🌞

Easy one, the Unplug Meditation studio. The moment I walk through those doors, I feel an instant shift. The energy is calm yet alive, filled with people who are all there for the same reason: to pause, breathe, and reconnect. The soft lighting, the hum of crystal bowls... It all reminds me why I started Unplug in the first place. Every class feels like coming home to myself.

That’s where happiness lives for me. In every breath, every shared silence, and every person who chooses peace over chaos ☮

Here’s what I know: meditation transforms lives. It may not be overnight, but over time, through practice, patience, and heart. I’ve witnessed it countless times at Unplug. People walk in anxious, overwhelmed… and through daily meditation, they begin to find clarity, and calm.

"What’s one action that will bring me closer to my goals today?" 🌱

For me, it’s never about doing everything at once, but about doing one small thing consistently. Most days, it's meditating for five minutes, and taking a mindful breath before diving into my schedule. Each little action is a brick, and over time, those bricks build the foundation of my dreams. It's important to keep the big picture in mind, but focusing on smaller steps is how we stay present and empowered.
