Did you have a great time in Nashville? I definitely did, and I learned a lot from some extraordinary speakers presenting interesting and innovative topics. Let's keep the momentum going. Boston 2026 is about a year away, and the Professional Development Committee (PDC) wants to hear from you!

The abstract submission window opens today (August 20) and runs through September 17, 2025, at 12 PM (CT).

The PDC has improved the abstract submission process, updated session categories, and clarified information for authors. We encourage new and aspiring presenters to submit an abstract for consideration. All abstracts go through a blind review.

The 2026 revised categories include:

• Best Practices in Business Methods, Leadership, and Resource Management
• Best Practices in Clinical Care
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Perioperative Care
• Enhancing Patient Safety
• Best Practices in Pediatric and Obstetric Patient Care
• Advancements in Anesthesia Pharmacology
• Anesthesia Research in Action
• Special Interests
• Wellness for the Anesthesia Professional
