Adan is my Doberman medical alert dog in training who took over at the age of 5.5 months for Dana after she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Adan and I have been through way more than even Dana and I did when she was a puppy. We were confined to our home in Chicago by the freezing cold during the winter of 2014/15 from November to April 1st, when we left for Los Angeles, where we have been homeless for
15 days, and then stayed in a motel room for 2.5 months in Palm Springs where we were basically confined by the heat during the day, and I also had "urbanitis", because I have been a city boy since 1980, so being in a small town made me nuts. I still want Adan to have a house to live in, so we have settled in the suburbs of L.A., and we have a Metrolink commuter train that takes us into downtown L.A. So Adan is getting over the stress that the previous situations we have encountered have caused him. He has lost weight drastically because of all that stress, and now I am trying to get him to push his weight up over the 74 lbs he weighed when we left Chicago, but he ended up getting giardia in a dog park in Palm Springs, so that held his weight down until I discovered he had it. I know he got it in that dog park because there were ppl there who were saying their dogs got it there. His page is a collection of all the photos we take here and updates of how we are doing here. It's my Chicago with 365 day warm weather. Adan is an 82 lb Doberman now. We hope you enjoy taking a walk through our lives.
