My thoughts on all the word-of-the-year quizzes.
They can be quietly powerful—when they’re held lightly and listened to wisely. 🌱
This year, I’m leaning into the word: CREATE.
I've been deep into my self-study writing practice these past few days of the new year.
Creating from presence, not pressure.
Creating space instead of rushing to fill it.
Creating meaning in the quiet, ordinary moments.
Creating beauty without needing it to be perfect or finished.
I’m noticing how much energy I once spent waiting—
for clarity to arrive,
for permission to be given,
for the “right time” to begin.
CREATE feels like gentle participation with life.
It’s choosing expression over hesitation.
Trust over control.
Depth over noise.
This year isn’t asking me to reinvent myself.
It’s asking me to give form to what’s already alive within me.
To let what wants to emerge… emerge.
If this resonates, sit with this for a moment:
What are you being invited to create this year?
Share your word—or one thing you’re ready to create—in the comments. 🤍
