Join us at this year's Parkinson's Expo to hear from Sneha Mantri, MD, MS, as she discusses "Charting Your Future with Parkinson’s Disease: Innovation, Treatment, and Quality of Life."

Sneha Mantri, MD MS, is the Chief Medical Officer of the Parkinson's Foundation and Associate Professor of Neurology at Duke University. As a practicing movement disorders neurologist and scholar of narrative medicine, she blends scientific skill with patient-centered storytelling to ensure that all people with Parkinson's disease have the opportunity to thrive. A nationally-recognized clinician-educator, her research and commentaries on Parkinson's disease have been published in Parkinsonism and Related Disorders, JAMA Neurology, and the British Medical Journal, among other venues. She completed her medical education at Columbia University, neurology residency at the University of Virginia, where she served as chief resident, and a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Since 2018, she has served on the faculty of Duke University School of Medicine, where she continues to teach medical students and lead the interprofessional Parkinson's disease clinic.

Irene Nagaraj, LCSW

Irene graduated from University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2001 and has over 15 years of experience helping people with chronic and acute physical and mental health issues. Irene has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and community based hospice care, community mental health, behavioral oncology, and long term care. Irene is level 1 EMDR, DBT and CBT-I (insomnia) trained and also uses additional therapy modalities including Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Recovery Process and Integrated Illness Management Recovery.

Kelsey Florence, LCSW

Kelsey is a licensed clinical social worker who received an MSSW from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville in 2020. Kelsey has served clients in a variety of settings including residential, hospice care, and addiction and recovery. Kelsey’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and a commitment to health equity, ensuring that every client is met with compassion, dignity, and respect. Kelsey is deeply committed to client advocacy and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to promote client autonomy and empowerment.

Kimberly Cook-Lee, LCSW

Kimberly is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. She has 25 years of experience in the medical field, including behavioral health and hospice care. She is certified in grief counseling and specializes in complex trauma, PTSD, and sexual trauma with a holistic approach, emphasizing the connection between body, mind, and spirit. She integrates body-based interventions to support the brain and nervous system with special interest in creative expression, equine and animal-assisted learning, and faith-based counseling. She is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Amy Worthington, LCSW

Amy graduated from Indiana University with both her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work (2003). She has 22 years of experience working with diverse age groups and populations including individuals living with chronic pain, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Empowerment, Narrative Therapy, Psychotherapy, Somatic Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to individualize each persons’ therapeutic experience to best meet their needs at the time.
