There's an important distinction that a lot of people miss when they talk about "energy work." Each person has two different energies. They must be taken into consideration in order to properly conduct energy work.
You have a core vibrational frequency.
The core vibrational frequency is the eternal connection between your consciousness and Source. It stems from the crown chakra, which aligns with many traditions that place the crown as the gateway to the divine. This frequency is like the baseline signal of your soul, it never wavers, never weakens, and cannot be diminished or stolen.
Think of it like the sun: clouds may obscure it, storms may rage, but the sun still shines at full power. Likewise, your core frequency is always radiating, even if your awareness is clouded by thoughts, emotions, or ego. This is why mystics often say, "You're already whole; enlightenment is not attained but remembered." This is why my mantra for Divinergy is, "Regain Your Enlightenment."
Example:
Imagine someone living through trauma, heartbreak, or illness. Their day-to-day energy (internal vibration) may feel heavy and low. Yet beneath that, their soul essence, their core frequency, is untouched. It’s why people often feel a sudden burst of clarity or spiritual awakening even in dark times: the clouds parted, and the sun (their core) was still there.
You also have an internal vibrational frequency.
This is the energy we consciously feel and manage daily. It’s influenced by thoughts, emotions, environment, diet, and especially beliefs. Unlike the unchanging core, the internal vibration fluctuates like waves on the ocean. It rises with love, joy, gratitude, and resonance, and it sinks with fear, stress, or resentment.
The purpose of inner work is to raise this internal vibration closer to the natural high frequency of the core. When this alignment happens, people describe feeling "in flow," "at peace," or "aligned with Source."
Example:
Say someone wakes up anxious and frustrated, their internal frequency is low. But after meditation, laughter with a loved one, or time in nature, their frequency rises. Their core didn’t change, it was always high, but their perception and alignment improved.
Now think of free will and the fear-based world.
Free will is universal law. Fear, manipulation, and conditioning are used to steer people into subconscious agreements that override their conscious intentions. This happens in both the physical and spiritual realms.
Example:
A person consciously says, "I want to heal my trauma," but subconsciously, they still identify with being a victim. Their subconscious clings to the pain because it feels safe or familiar, or because it reinforces their identity. So, the healing stalls until they consciously and subconsciously choose to release it.
This is why affirmations sometimes fail, if the subconscious is not on board, the words bounce off the surface.
This is why no one can "take away" your energy.
Energy is not like a coin that can be passed from one person to another. It’s more like a frequency broadcast that only you control. Others may influence how you tune your inner dial, through persuasion, manipulation, love, or inspiration, but they cannot steal or erase your energy.
Even so-called "energy vampires" don’t take energy; instead, they influence you to lower your frequency by engaging in draining patterns (fear, guilt, drama). But the energy remains yours, always.
Example:
Imagine someone claims they "pulled out" all your negative energy during a healing session. In truth, if you subconsciously want to hold on to resentment, you’ll keep vibrating with it, no matter what ritual they perform. At best, they created space or offered a perspective shift. At worst, they lied about their ability. The actual healing only occurs when you align your free will to release the vibration.
Now think of free will in the spirit realm.
In time-space (the spirit realm), free will is even more absolute than here. Guides, angels, or higher beings can offer nudges, signs, and opportunities, but they cannot override your choice. To do so would be to violate the very law that upholds creation.
Example:
A soul might ask for healing in prayer. Their guides may line up synchronicities, meeting the right practitioner, reading the right book, or entering a situation that triggers release. But if the soul subconsciously clings to the trauma, the guides step back. They honor the being’s sovereignty, even if that means continued suffering, because sovereignty is sacred.
Now let's put it all together.
When someone says they can remove your negative energy, they're misinnerstanding or misrepresenting how energy truly works. They may be able to facilitate a shift by creating a safe space, holding a resonance of love, or offering tools, but the actual release is your own choice.
Think of it like this:
A therapist can hold space for your grief, but they cannot cry your tears for you. A musician can play a tuning fork, but you must resonate with it. A gardener can water the soil, but the seed chooses to grow.
In short:
Your core frequency is unshakable. Your internal frequency is flexible and influenced by choice. Free will is the law that governs both realms. Healing only occurs when your conscious and subconscious free will align with your core truth. No one can do it for you, because your energy is yours, always.
