Better S*x Through Mindfulness: How Women can Cultivate Desire by Lori Brotto is such an insightful text on how to value pleasure in everyday life. So much of s*x therapy is exploring and redefining our definitions of s*x and expanding to have a more fulfilling s*xual life. ❤️

S*x and intimacy can be connected, but they both need to be cultivated intentionally. They may be intertwined, but intimacy may refer more to that everyday effort and connection between partners. ❤️ How do you think s*x and intimacy are connected?

Touch is an important part of feeling connected to your partner. 💕 It's not the only way to show connectedness, but it is a helpful regulation tool for most humans! It's also important to feel like you and your partner can communicate around touch and that you can share when you are "touched out" and need no physical contact. Having a relationship that allows you both to have boundaries around touch, and to engage in safe and healthy touch helps build so much trust and security.

First it is so important to know that it's completely normal to go a stretch without s*x. Second, every relationship is a little different and there's always a history to explore before trying any of these solutions. The coolest thing about s*x therapy is that it's so personalized to each relationship. These are some fun ideas to jump start s*xual touch, which can sometimes lead to some lovely connection with your partner! 😍

Let's normalize what real s*x looks like! ❤️Love this post by to contextualize and normalize things that happen during s*x that are completely normal! It's a shame that our media doesn't represent the normal parts of having a human body during s*x.

Holiday anxiety got you down? It makes sense that this time of year would bring an increase in anxiety. There are so many norms, expectations and things to plan for! Remember to take time out of the holiday season for Self-Care, recharging, and resting. You do not have to earn that rest. Your anxiety may tell you differently, but it's okay to have needs and communicate them to others. Especially the people who care most about you.🎄💖

Our feelings are such a powerful source of wisdom from our bodies. This is such a good reminder that it's okay to feel our feelings and notice what they're saying to us. It also is a helpful reminder that feelings are temporary. Even if some of them can be overwhelming, feelings will pass with time. 💖
