Gearing up for Autism Acceptance Month!

Braylen is a pr***en on the Autism Spectrum. Autism means his brain processes things differently from most kids’ brains. As a result, Braylen has a unique way of understanding “the right thing to do.”
This heartwarming story is based on the true struggles of 13-year-old Braylen as he tries to understand why his parents aren’t pleased with him after doing all of “the right things.” He then concludes that autism or not, sometimes, “Parents just don’t understand!”
Braylen Fife and his mom collaborate on this book based on some of Braylen’s struggles on the Autism Spectrum and how he and his parents learn to bridge the communication gap.

Braylen’s House

David and Gina Fife created Braylen's House after their son, Braylen, reached the age of twelve, and they asked: "What next?" They were losing services, but Braylen was still struggling with self-care. Braylen's House became the answer to their question of "What next?" The goal is to open a training facility in Louisville, KY that will promote self-care, provide employment training, teach adaptive drivers courses, and partner with local businesses to aquire job placement for youth and young adults on the autism spectrum. This, along with other services, will be the focus of Braylen's House.
